A good turnout over at The War Memorial Park tonight.
Steve said that it was an awesome session with the Mixed Group this evening.
Starting with some fast and furious shuttle sprints, followed by a partner strength and conditioning circuit then into a tough CV, core overload and Finisher! A great display of effort all round.
Alaina gets Trainer of the Session for her great effort from start to finish. Good job all π
Ian said that it was an extremely tough Greens session tonight, fast tempo start that brought little respite. If the group wasn't sprinting they were doing strength overloads from start to finish πͺ
Well done to you all, incredibly difficult to pick out individuals but special mention does go to Emma and Chris, well done everyone π π

A good turnout over at The War Memorial Park tonight.
Steve took the mixed group for an awesome fast paced session tonight. An extended 1st circuit with a cheeky pick up added in, followed by a hard strength and upper body overload and then straight into a sprint/run CV circuit made for a tough hour.
Trainer of the Session goes to Gabrielle for pushing hard all the way through the session.
Ian said great work from the Greens tonight as they explored the park. Lots of CV with the interval sprints and general ground covered with lots of strength overloads that will have the major muscle groups aching tomorrow π³
Well done everyone great effort from you all, Trainer of the Session has to go to the returning Roxy π πͺ
It was a great session with the group under the lights at The War Memorial Park tonight.
Steve said that it was a fast paced start, then slowing it down for the strength and conditioning circuit (some confusion was experienced, which he takes full responsibility for) and then speeding it up again for the Finisher made for a tough hour.
Trainer of the Session goes to everyone Group award this evening. Good job all π
It was an all-action session at The War Memorial Park tonight as the Mixed Group covered lots of ground exploring the park.
It was a largely team-based session with each of the 4 teams shining on different circuits, before some individual sprints, lower body overload and Finisher brought a high octane evening to an end.
Well done everyone, really great work from you all, Trainer of the Session goes to
Heena, Mike and Jenny πππͺ
A brilliant start to the week for the group that braved the slightly damp conditions over at The War Memorial Park tonight.
Steve said that an hour of strength and sprinting in the wet and mud made it a hard session but this did not stop the group giving it 100% and absolutely smashing it!
It's a joint Trainer of the Session with Donna and Jan getting the honours for thier awesome work rate. Also a shout out to Siobhan for being a brilliant buddy to Donna. Great job all π
It was a good turnout at The War Memorial Park tonight and everyone was in for a real treat, with lots of CV and strength work in a high octane session.
Well done everyone, great determination on show, Trainer of the Session goes to Hardeep, Lee and Lynn πππͺ
A great turnout at The War Memorial Park tonight.
Steve said that it was a brilliant Monday night session under the lights. A great start to the week mixing up strength and conditioning circuits with some fast paced CV sets.
Everyone was awesome tonight but Donna gets Trainer of the Session for demonstrating a really impressive work rate and effort.
Good job all π

You can blame Roald Dahl for your mediocre life.
Or possibly Walt Disney.
Or maybe even the A-Team.
Here's why...
Your mindset.
Which is your own personal set of thoughts, beliefs and assumptions about how the world works (and is what you use to make ALL of your decisions).
Is predominantly formed by the age of 7.
So.
Whatever external influences you come into contact with before that age.
Will all have a massive effect on how your life turns out.
Now i.
Like many kids.
Grew up watching my fair share of TV and films:
> Disney movies.
> The A-Team.
> E.T.
> Fraggle Rock.
> The Moomins.
> Scooby fu***ng Doo.
Etc; Etc; Etc;
I was also an avid reader.
I read the Roald Dahl books over and over again.
And I loved the 'Choose Your Own Adventure' series.
Now.
Bear with me.
Because I'm getting to the important bit....
When you consume these kinds of things.
(especially before the age of 7)
What's happening is.
Your brain is getting programmed.
Your brain is getting programmed to believe that.
As long as you are a good person.
As long as you are a 'goodie' and not a 'baddie'.
Then.
Sooner or later.
Everything is going to turn out brilliantly for you.
You KNOW that sooner or later you will be riding off into the sunset (or flying off in your spaceship) with your perfect life.
And so.
What many of us do.
Is try our best to be a good person.
We say 'please' and 'thank you'.
We don't cheat, rob or steal.
We don't hurt anyone.
And.
Whether we're conscious of it or not.
We think that this will be enough to see us alright in the end.
We genuinely believe that because we're 'goodies'.
Sooner or later.
We're going to be leading this amazingly happy life.
But.
Unfortunately.
This is EXACTLY what f***s many people up.
They wait, and wait, and wait and wait.
And the whole time they're subconsciously thinking:
"Any day now my life is going to be fu***ng amazing!"
And then.
All of a sudden.
They're 90 years old and they're thinking to themselves:
"What the f**k happened to that amazing life I was promised?"
And then it dawns on them.
They have a moment of clarity:
"Being a good person ISN'T enough on it's own. You have to be a good person AND take some fu***ng action!"
But.
By then.
It's too fu***ng late.
Now.
I know.
Quite a few of you will be thinking that I'm talking complete bo****ks.
If that's the case.
Then please consider this.
LOOK AROUND YOU.
95% of people are not happy.
They're not necessarily UNHAPPY.
But they're definitely not happy in the true sense of the word.
This is what they're doing:
"They are going through the motions, living mediocre lives, trying to be a good person - mistakingly thinking that one day something amazing will happen to them and they will finally be happy "
So.
Please.
Consider yourself lucky to be reading this post.
You are lucky because you can now avoid making this MASSIVE mistake.
You now have the opportunity to STOP WAITING and START TAKING ACTION.
Yes.
Keep being a good person (pump out positive energy, and The Universe will pump it right back at ya).
But.
Simultaneously.
Decide EXACTLY what it is that you want out of life.
And go out and make it fu***ng happen for yourself.
PLEASE...
Do it whilst you still have time.
Do EVERYTHING that you want to do with your life whilst you still can.
Stop going through the motions and living in mediocrity.
Realise your TRUE potential before it's too late.
And if you don't?
Then I promise you...
..one day you will wish that you had! πππ

Many people ask me how I find it so easy to stick to my Primal/Keto nutritional lifestyle.
Well.
Itβs actually not that difficult when you fully understand what the f**k conventional nutrition does to your body.
This is just one example:
Sugar.
Sugar causes crusting in your brain - EXACTLY like the one on top of a Creme BrΓ»lΓ©!
Sugar reacts with certain proteins and forms little crusts or plaques called AGES (advanced glycation end products).
The AGES basically clog your brain up, damage the cells and tissue that they come into contact with, and ultimately lead to a loss of brain function and very likely dementia.
Now.
I used to love a Snickers as much as the next man (or woman).
But not if that is the fu***ng consequence.
Personally Iβd rather NOT have a sugary crust forming on my brain! π³

"Round pegs in square holes."
That's what many people are.
And.
In my humble opinion.
It's the cause of so many of societies problems.
Here's the deal.
Many human beings are simply not designed to be confined.
(i was going to use the word 'enslaved' - let me know in the 'comments' if you think that's too strong a word? We'll go with 'confined' for now)
Many human beings are not designed for having to turn up in the same place Monday - Friday.
From 0900 - 1700.
And do the same old s**t all day every day, week in week out, month after month, year after year.
Many human beings are not designed for being told that they're only allowed 30 days off per year...
..and that they can only take those 30 days when it's convenient for their employer.
And.
If you break the rules.
If you don't turn up in this certain place and do the same old s**t all day....
You lose your job.
You lose your income.
You struggle to feed your family.
And.
Ultimately.
Somebody comes along and takes your house and car off you.
Think about it.
Who the actual f**k wants to live like that?
So.
Is it any wonder people eat too much s**t?
Drink too much alcohol?
Take drugs?
Gamble?
Are aggressive?
Are depressed or anxious?
Get divorced?
Kill themselves?
Etc; etc; etc;
Now.
Some of you will think i'm bonkers.
That's fine.
Some of you are square pegs in square holes. (and there's nothing wrong with that if you're genuinely happy)
But.
I know that some of you won't think i'm bonkers.
Some of you are square pegs in round holes.
So.
If any of this resonates.
If you think you are a square peg in a round hole.
Please understand this....
.... you CAN do something about it.
The only reason that you think you can't is because you've been conditioned by society from a young age to believe that that is the only way, or the best way, to live life.
It isn't.
Or at least it doesn't have to be if you're not happy.
PLEASE start giving this some thought.....
What are you passionate about?
What do you LOVE to do?
What are you good at?
How could you use that thing to generate an income?
What do you actually WANT to do?
Then.
Start thinking about how you could transition into this new life.
What would you need to do?
What new skills would you need to learn?
What sacrifices would you need to make?
Then.
What you do is this....
You stop watching fu***ng box sets.
You stop spending hours scrolling through your phone.
You stop spending so much time 'socializing'.
And you start spending all that time you currently fu***ng waste transitioning into your new life.
Some people will do this.
Some people won't.
But.
One day.
The people who don't will wish that they did.
A fantastic turnout over at The War Memorial Park tonight.
Ian said well done to the Mixed Group under the lights tonight, there was a little bit of everything for everyone, including wet, muddy bums π
Great work everyone, lots of determination from everyone, though some certainly need to improve their listening skills.
Trainer of the Session goes to Lee and Lynne ππͺ
Steve said that it was a great session with Green Group tonight. A run around the park broken up with multiple exercises working all the major muscle groups!
Sid gets Trainer of the Session for his brilliant show of effort and determination. Good job all π
