The Journey So Far | Leicester Tigers ACE Programme Coventry College Leicester Tigers

Stage 1 Complete | 2026–27

What an incredible journey it’s been so far as we celebrate 20 years of rugby union provision at Coventry College!

From the start of preseason in August through to October half term, our players have completed 11 fixtures, travelling across the country and showcasing some outstanding performances.

Beyond the results, it’s been fantastic to witness the progress made both on and off the pitch, with significant development in playing performances, training standards, team culture and individual growth.

A special group of players who continue to work hard, challenge themselves and represent the programme with pride.

Stage 1 complete. Stage 2 awaits. The journey continues!

Congratulations to former Coventry College player .csford who has signed a Senior Academy contract with Coventry Rugby and made his championship debut against in round 1 of the Champ.

Coby played a significant part in the Coventry College full time rugby programme across a two year period, showing outstanding commitment to his development.

During his time on the programme, Coby successfully transitioned from back row to prop, embracing a new positional challenge that supported his progression and development as a player.

Another fantastic example of the player pathway in action in to professional rugby.

Congratulations Coby, thoroughly deserved, and we look forward to following the next stage of your journey.
