Introducing the team behind the Leicester Tigers ACE Programme at Coventry College led by Head of Rugby & Academies Manager Pete Glackin

Founded with a vision of combining high performance rugby alongside academic studies, the programme continues to provide talented young players with an environment to develop both on and off the field.

Approaching its 20th year in September 2026, the programme has created an outstanding player pathway with opportunities for students to train, compete, and study within a professional environment.

Announcing Leicester Tigers ACE Programme Open Evening Coventry College 🐯

Offering current male year 11 students a full time rugby union & academic opportunity to compete in the highest level of rugby union in the country, RFU ACE Boys league competition

The open evening will provide 16-18yr olds the opportunity to meet the academic and rugby union staff and gather information on the high performance programme based at the Alan Higgs Centre while visiting the first class facilities which includes 4G indoor dome pitch, outdoor 3G pitch, strength & conditioning gyms, swimming pool and state of the art class rooms.
