Today game for mercia A vs Lamb and Flag, unfortunately a 3-1 loss ... even after taking a 1-0 lead in the first 10, the lads dropped there heads after the equaliser and the rest is history. We had to make some last minute signings due to injuries and availability so hopefully we can be better next week

Whilst it wasn't a individuals fault and not 1 plauer had a poor gane in particular, it wasnt a strong team effort and therfore cost us points. Every loss is a lesson and we will be putting this effort in this tuesday as we take on The wheel fc Away

Mercia B are playing away at george elliot school in Div 4 , attlebrough sports will be a challenge but plenty of work has been put on over the week , time to translate it on the field sunday and get them 3 points

This sunday, Mercia A takes on Lamb & Flag FC.

A few key players are missing from the squad this week. None of the less, the lads will be working their hardest to secure the 3 points at home

Tomorrow the A team takes on the SS Bulls Head from Div 2 in the league cup @ lynghall sports school cv2

1-0 loss this weekend for the A team , against top of the league standard bearer. Unfortunately, the referee didnt show up this weekend.. so we took turns reffing each half, could of been a much different scoreline but 1-0 loss means the lads can go into next weeks cup game vs Div 2's SS Bulls Head with a bit more confidence knowing we can defend against attacking teams..
