Petition: Do not remove Sport England as a statutory consultee for planning applications For the Government to ensure strong safeguards for playing fields, pitches and community sports facilities by maintaining Sport England’s status as a statutory consultee for planning applications involving playing fields.

We were delighted to recently hit our 1 year anniversary, which has also given us the opportunity to look back on what we have done in that time and what we continue to do 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

🩵 support primary schools with kit and boots for their pupils
🩵 support secondary schools with kit and boots for their pupils
🩵 provide primary schools with pupil behaviour and emotional support
🩵 provide secondary schools with pupil behaviour and emotional support
🩵 provide opportunities for boys to represent their school in Years 1-6
🩵 provide opportunities for girls to represent their school in Years 1-6

All of the above and much more wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing commitment from schools locally as well as donations and help from the local community and businesses 😍😍😍

We look forward to strengthening those relationships we have built with the businesses and the local community as well as continuing to work with, providing opportunities and supporting children where possible across primary and secondary schools 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Yesterday we hosted our final event of the academic year and welcomed the Y4 Girls from Eastern Green Junior School Coventry, Aldermoor Farm Primary School, Joseph Cash Primary School, St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School and Spon Gate Primary School 🙌🏻⚽️

It was a warm afternoon filled with lots of football and fun and a pleasure to see so many youngsters enjoying themselves 🤩☀️

These Year 4 boys from Joseph Cash Primary School, Eastern Green Junior School Coventry, St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Spon Gate Primary School and Moseley Primary School came together for a fun filled, football frenzy of an afternoon at Goals Coventry 🤩

With great skills, teamwork and determination on show, a large majority of these boys were playing in a team and representing their school for the first time 🙌🏻

It was a pleasure to welcome Year 3 Girls from Eastern Green Junior School Coventry, Joseph Cash Primary School and St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School ⚽️

For the majority of the Girls today, it was their first time playing games in a team and representing their school - to see the joy on their faces from scoring a goal, taking a shot, making a tackle or running with the ball successfully was truly great to see 😍
