Another great Seniors session on the tatami! 🥋
Good energy, good atmosphere, and a lot of hard work from everyone.

We were still missing a few people, but the spirit of the group was amazing! 💪✨

While the juniors were busy training hard in the sunshine… the parents seemed to have a very different idea of an “outdoor judo session” ☀️😎

Tuesday’s parent training programme included:
📱 Phone scrolling
🌳 Shade seeking
😌 Relaxing
…and moral support from a safe seated distance 😂

We think they enjoyed the outdoor session just as much as the judoka did!

Another brilliant monthly fight night!🥋🔥

Despite the heatwave and half term, we still had some fantastic numbers on the mat — and that’s all thanks to the incredible support from our amazing judo community that we made ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a welcoming, supportive and positive atmosphere. Nights like these are what make the judo community so special 🤍🥋

On Wednesday 27th May, Yamato Judo Academy will welcome clubs from across the area for a night of randori and community.

📍 Yamato Judo Academy, Gym 3
Former Woodlands School, Broad Lane, Coventry, CV5 7FF
💷 Mat fee: £6

✅ Everyone is welcome
✅ Great opportunity to train with different players
✅ Friendly but competitive atmosphere
✅ Perfect chance to test yourself and improve

Minimum requirement: Yellow Belt, age 12+
Players will step onto the mat and train alongside seniors.
