Can we skip to the good part? 🎶
Sorry but no.
I know, it’s an unpopular opinion and many of you have scrolled already.
But it’s the harsh truth.
Only two things will help you get to your goals.
1) Stay consistent.
2) Enjoy the journey.
You got to flip the mindset and do this all because it makes you feel good…
Not because you have to do you can be skinny and you want to feel good in your skin one day.
But here is a thing…
No matter how much weight you lose and how hard you work if you don’t love your body now and appreciate what it does for you, you won’t love your body later either.
I exercise because I love my body, not because I hate it.
“Be happy but never satisfied”
I know it doesn’t make sense right now if you are “I hate my body” team but soon it will.
I’m 75kg at the moment.
I don’t have six pack, I’m not skinny and lately I’m wearing size 12 clothes after many years wearing only size 10.
At first I was like UGH… but then do I really care?
Nope!
I love my body, I have legs, glutes and I’m strong AF and I don’t have six pack because I enjoy my food - I get to bake with my children. 🥰
But it doesn’t mean I don’t aim to progress in the gym and improve my body composition.
I enjoy the process and once I’m in a mindset I might step on stage.
So when I sent my client her before/ after progress and wasn’t happy my heart was broken.
There were clearly a lot of changes but she didn’t see the end results she is still aiming for. She doesn’t see THAT number on the scale and doesn’t fit in THAT size of clothes.
However THAT number doesn’t define you or how sexy and lovely you are.
No one gives a sh*y how much you weight and what size clothes you are wearing.
This type of comparison is the thief of joy when you compare someone or an idea which is not you.
You get to celebrate your little wins and recognise the progress you are making.
Quick fix diets and detoxes won’t get you where you want to be, these set you up for failure as before.
👉 follow a plan
👉 stay consistent
👉 trust the process
👉 enjoy the process
And then the changes will come - physically AND mentally.

Why does your weight fluctuate? Why did your weight go up when you stick to your diet?
And why are you feeling tired and weak in the gym?
When a client comes to me disheartened with questions like these my first question is when is her period due?
In fact we track the cycle each week and I suggest to use a tracking app too.
So when you notice symptoms like
💪 I feel weak on my workouts
😭 Super emotional
😴 I feel more tired than usual
😳 scale weight doesn’t change
😫 I’m bloated
😋 I’m hungry all the time
😖 sore bo***es
You can connect the dots and give yourself permission to relax or pay more attention if symptoms are severe or abnormal.
(Also, ladies can have many other symptoms, everyone is different and maybe you even have absolutely different ones.)
Tracking your cycle and understand your symptoms can help you to cope with lows much better and/or seek for solution/medical professional if needed.
An abnormal cycle can warn you that you have health issues. Don’t ignore it. ☝️
But overall it’s normal if
💕 your weight goes up - it’s water retention and should go in a couple of days
💕 you feel a little weaker - but cramps and fatigue shouldn’t be that severe that you cannot complete general daily task or go to the gym to do a light workout (obviously this is not the time when we expect personal bests but it can happen if you feel well enough)
💕 you are a little emotional and have bad body image days - water retention and hormonal changes can make us feel we don’t make progress.
💕 you are more hungrier- our body temperature is higher in the luteal phase so it will slightly increase BMR. Go easy on yourself if you had some extra food, you probably will get away with it if you stayed mindful… and if not… you have another 3 weeks to make progress even if you didn’t on that one week.
Basically it will be all good. Stay consistent and keep working hard.

So September is over…
The kids have settled back to school, parents are back to work as well, everything is normal… almost.
You’ve probably either spent your holiday in your best shape but that’s now gone or you were wishing you was working harder to feel confident.

It always makes me smile when people say they have no time.
Everyone has time just don’t set the priorities right.
This mum has promised herself that she will make change and took action as well.
After every diet that she tried failed her she reached out to me and signed up for the 16 weeks photoshoot challenge.
She works 2 jobs and looking after her daughter, doing school runs, cleans and cooks.
She went to the gym, found time to sleep and prep her meals.
She also went on holiday where she stayed mindful what she was eating and ticked of as many workouts as possible that I designed for her for that period of time as well.
She has stayed accountable through all the 16 weeks and haven’t missed any check ins.
As I always say, if there is a will there is a way.
She only needed someone to give the right approach and support to finally see results.
Super proud of her journey and I’m looking forward to see her further progress in the next couple of months working together.

A lot of time I see people looking for different "magic" to get the quickest results possible.
You can have the best diet, best workout plan, or best supplements...
But here is a thing...
The biggest magic is YOU taking action.
If you don't put in the work and stay consistent, you won't see results.
If you don't nail the basics you won't see results.
👉 stick to your calories
👉 minimum 80% healthy foods
👉 hit the gym 3-4 times a week
👉 add intensity
👉 steps
👉 drink 2-3 L water
👉 sleep 8 hours
