Seven Pines - November 2020

This is now completely locked up. It was disappointing to not get in to the house, but it was still interesting to walk round the grounds.

Village Pub, Sussex - October 2020.

A fun explore here. Only had my phone, so the picture quality isn't great.

Abandoned Bungalow - October 2020.

A quick 5 minute explore here. I can't find any history on this one, but from one of the letters I found, it looks as though this has been empty since 2006.

Reigate - June 2019

Some old pictures from last year.
The site was close to Reigate and had 2 properties on it. Only one was accessible unfortunately.
Don't know much about the place, but I was told the owners died a few years back and then some Polish workers lived there for a short time.

Horsham – October 2020

News report from September 2015

EIGHT people have been made homeless after a fire ripped through a shared house.

Firefighters had to use water from a nearby pond and a swimming pool to battle the flames at the property near Horsham.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the roof space was 70 per cent damaged while the ground floor was 50 per cent damaged

Firefighters took nearly four hours to stop the fire and were still at the site the next day making it safe.

A big site, with 3 properties, a swimming pool, a lake and another building behind the main house.
A good explore here with a couple of abandoned cars (one of which had a crossbow hanging from it) and a huge games room, with a pool table, dart board, piano and a couple of fruit machines.

There were lots of toys and Christmas decorations dotted about as well.

The master bedroom still contained a cot and a baby grow, which made me quite uncomfortable to see.

An application for planning permission was put in to Horsham D.C. in March this year to demolish the 3 existing dwellings and associated buildings and replace them with 4 new ones

Horsham – October 2020

Emergency services spent more than nine hours battling a blaze which raged throughout the night on April 1st 2019 and into the early hours of the following morning.

At its height, six crews were dealing with the blaze at the two-storey, derelict building, which had also spread to the outbuildings

Police said the building had recently been renovated by the owners but had now been damaged beyond repair.

An arson investigation has been launched.

We chose the scenic route to access the site and were greeted by an old caravan and a cottage which we didn’t know was going to be there.

Had a look round there first before heading over to the main house.

It is such a shame to see a house like this in such a state. I would have loved to have seen it before the fire.

The top floor is pretty much gone and the floor of one of the bedrooms has completely collapsed.

There was still some interesting bits of furniture in a couple of the rooms.

I think the highlight for me was finding the floor plans for the house.
