“A tough afternoon on a tricky, physical surface.

The team battled hard, especially in the second half, and were unlucky not to get more from the game after pulling a goal back. Plenty of positives to take from the performance and the fight shown throughout.

A difficult start to the season as we come away with a heavy loss that doesn’t reflect the grit, effort and work-rate from the entire team. Another day and it could have been a different result but heads are high as we go on to the next! Credit to Hailsham for some fantastic finishes, we look forward to the return fixture.

⭐️ POTM - Liv Martin stepped in at fullback today and worked tirelessly to close down balls, intercept passes and use her fancy football to gain yards up the line earning her the chairman’s prosecco!

We’d love our youth players to join us in your kits for the Crowborough Bonfire & Carnival procession on Saturday 12 September.
