❌COURSE CLOSED UPDATE❌
The course will remain closed this weekend to allow greens to properly thaw. Currently there is still frost in many of the greens holding back snow melt and rainfall.

Temperatures are forecast to be 0 degrees overnight tonight and minus 2 on Saturday night therefore conditions are unlikely to improve much over the weekend.

Play during these conditions will cause lasting damage with root shearing taking place: Even if the surface looks clear, the ground underneath is still frozen. Stepping on this "thawing" layer can cause the soft topsoil to slide over the frozen subsoil, shearing the grass roots and killing the plant.

Temperatures are set to rise on Monday, so looking forward to a better week next week.

You can use the practice nets or the practice area by the palace whilst the course is closed. The chipping green and putting green like the course will remain closed.

The bar and kitchen will be open as normal for drinks and snacks, breakfast and lunches.

As you can probably guess, the course is still closed 😞 but you can still come to the clubhouse for some food or have a drink or two!

Unfortunately with the snowfall, the course has been closed today, and it's likely to remain closed for a few days but we will keep you updated and members can see the course status updates every morning on the app ❄️

It's incredible to see the difference today compared to yesterday! 😱

This is a reminder that the clubhouse is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

If you are intending to play on these days, please make sure that you have all the equipment you need as you won’t be able to access the lockers or internal trolley shed on those days.

The office will be open on the 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th & 31st December with limited staffing levels and will return to normal on the 2nd of January.
