Players of the Week were Samantha Levy and Max Rahman for their wins at The FISTF World Cup.

Congratulations to Adam Jackson for winning his latest WASPA.

Had a great weekend playing at The Eland Cables FISTF World Cup in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
I was in a fringe tournament for "Flats" (card or celluloid figures), but never got out of my group.
I went on to the Plate competition and won 4-0 in the quarters but lost 0-2 to my teammate Steve in the semis.
Congratulations to him as he went on to win the final 2-1.

Adam, Mark, Max, Michele, Sam, Steve & myself had a great time playing at the Subbuteo/FISTF World Cup over the weekend.
Sam, Shell & Max took part in their individual and team tournaments.
Neither of the girls won in their solo events but Max won his 1st match and drew another of his 3 games.
The girls lost their opening 4 matches against France, Germany, Belgium & Italy but overcame their last opponents with a 3-0 win versus Japan, which included a 1-0 win for Sam.
Steve won the Flats Plate tournament, where Mark and Gary also reached the semi-finals.
Adam qualified from his group into the main Cup competition but was beaten in the 1st knockout round.
Congratulations to everyone for taking part.
