Sue Garner School of Dance has been fully engaged since 1980, providing dancers of all ages with an encouraging, enjoyable environment where they are given the opportunity to grow and excel in their dance education. We endeavor to deliver a high quality of dance tutoring, while encouraging each student’s unique gift of talent and creativity. We wish to inspire our students to achieve their fullest potential, whilst supporting them as they they build their self-esteem and knowledge whilst they grown imaginatively and academically. with all this knowledge combined we believe they will develop into well-rounded individuals as we realize each student should be nurtured in their own special way. Subjects: BALLET*TAP*MODERN*ACRO*LYRICAL*STREET DANCE*CONTEMPORARY*SINGING

Our friendly school is based in Dagenham and have qualified teachers to and take Boys & Girls 3+

💃 Parkview Care Home Dance Performance 💃

What a wonderful morning we had at Parkview Care Home! A small group of our dancers performed a lively 40-minute set, bringing smiles, entertainment and plenty of joy to the residents. One of the highlights was definitely Thriller — which proved to be a real crowd-pleaser! 🧟‍♀️🎶

A huge congratulations to Grace, Iris, Ava and Natasha, who all made their debut performances at the care home, and to Ivy-Rose, Anna & Mia who have gained the confidence to perform their first solo there! We are so proud of you all for stepping out of your comfort zones and showing such confidence.

Opportunities like these are so valuable to our dancers, helping them develop their performance skills, build self-esteem and share their love of dance with others. Thank you to the management team at Parkview Care Home for welcoming us and giving our students this wonderful opportunity.

We would also like to say a special thank you to everyone who helped make the morning such a success. To our parents and guardians for ensuring the children arrived on time, to our student Amy for supporting our younger dancers whilst taking photos, to Jenny for capturing even more special moments while videoing all the routines, and to Dee for helping in the changing room. Your support makes such a difference! ❤️

Now, we look forward to our final performance of the year — CHRISTMAS! 🎄✨ Preparations and routines are already underway, and we can’t wait to bring some festive magic to our next performance.

Our brand-new SGSD Dance Development Books are on their way, and we honestly can’t wait to get them into the dancers’ hands! 🥰

A huge thank you to our 50/50 Club for helping make these possible. ❤️

With updated dance moves, updated pictures and lots of new content, these books have been specially created to help our dancers develop both inside and outside of the studio.

We’re really proud to have created something that is unique to SGSD and not something you’ll find in every dance school. It’s all about giving our dancers something they can work through, look back on and be proud of as they grow.

✨ Our First Ever SGSD In-House Medal Test! ✨

What a brilliant day! Our very first SGSD In-House Medal Test was a huge success, and we couldn’t be more proud of all our dancers. 👯‍♂️

A huge thank you to Jack, our adjudicator, Sue, our writer, and Sarah, who looked after the music.

A special thank you to Sam, Harrison, Nic, Jenny, Shaun, Izzy, Sophie, Zahra & Amy for all their help with the set-up, running of the event and pack-down. We couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks to Beau & Dee for taking pictures we can’t wait to see the final ones 📸

The whole day truly reflected every one of SGSD’s values — and that is what made it so special. Seeing the children perform, support each other and enjoy themselves was exactly what SGSD is all about. 💕

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again!
