Saddened to say that Remy has been PTS due to a sudden illness. He will be missed by me and his friends from his weekly field trips.

‼️ 3 peaks update‼️: Unfortunately due to adverse weather. Mountain rescue have made the decision to cancel all hikers completing Scafell as part of the 3 Peaks challenge. This was our 2nd peak. Yes we are very disappointed, however everyone’s safety is paramount. Mother nature is not to be messed with.

We’ve made it to the top of Ben Nevis, what an incredible feeling. The weather is miserable but we don’t care….

The countdown is on and the starting line is nearer for myself and Sophie Happy Paws Pet Care to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24hrs. We both walk several miles daily for our work but never up hills as Derby has no hills. This challenge won't be an easy task for either of us, with the only hill training being completed in the Peak District. Those hills are only 1/3 of the height of 1 of the mountains which will be tough going, especially with a long term injury in my knee.
We're doing all this for a charity that looks after the one thing we both love, those furry friends. Yappy Ever After Dog Rescue - Registered Charity No 1163969 rescue dogs and helps them find them their forever home.
