Camper-UK - Premier Divisions
Roundup for Saturday May 2nd
Congratulations to Kinsley Boys who took the Camper UK Premier North title on Tuesday with a 2-1 win at SJR Worksop, their 14th consecutive win in the league, the goals coming from Brad Dockerty on 16 minutes, the goal which proved to be the winner scored, appropriately by Lucas Stubbs whose goals have been a key feature of the season’s success, This one matched the occasion, a 40 yard lob over the keeper which turned out to be the clincher. Perhaps inevitably their next match ended in defeat, a Muhammed Shebani hat trick giving Burngreave United a 3-1 win. No prizes for guessing Kinsley’s scorer, who turned out to be Lucas Stubbs. Commiserations go to Dinnington Town who finished the season as runners up for the second year running, but have two cup final appearances, the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup already won, the Buckingham Insurance League Cup final to be contested on Sunday May 9th at Alfreton. Dinnington concluded their league programme with a 2-1 win at Rossington Main Reserves, Jedidja Mafuta opening the scoring on 20 minutes, Josh Stead with the second on the half hour mark, Ashton Jacques on target for Rossington. It was a good week for Burngreave as apart from winning at Kinsley they also beat Harworth Colliery 3-0 to move up to third in the table. The scorers were Hassan Mohammed, Umar Mohammed and Aymad Gadour. Brodsworth Main have encountered a downturn in form recently and dropped to fourth after going down 2-1 at Elite AFC for whom Travis Gordon and Bartek Chrobak were the scorers Glapwell finally escaped the bottom three with a 2-0 win against Worksop Town Reserves, Oliver Parfitt on 10 minutes and Toby Francis after 27 to the rescue. Alex Coates scored twice and Sam Davies one in Staveley Reserves 3-1 win over Teversal, Josh Parfitt with the goal. AFC Bentley and Ollerton Town shared the points in a 1-1 draw at The Avenue. Harvey Nunn gave Ollerton the lead four minutes before half time, Mark Baggaley equalising in the 80th minute.
Graham Street Prims had that rarest of things at this stage of the season, a free week. Their only challenger, Selston were disappointed on Tuesday night losing1-0 in the final of the Notts FA Senior Trophy against former Central Midlands team Collingham in front of a big crowd at Sherwood Colliery and followed that up with a goalless draw at FC Sunnyhill. They are still short odds favourites for the title, being a point adrift with two games in hand. Borrowash, still in third place but well behind the top pair began the week with a 2-0 defeat at Mickleover RBL, Cole Hassell and 4-3 win at Cromford & Wirksworth Town, Jacob Hawksworth with two, Sam Allsop and Dan James with the goals, Cromford, now firmly in the bottom three, coming close, Simon Scully, Jordan Watts and Ben Cartwright all on the scoresheet. RBL followed up their win over Borrowash with another success at Holbrook St Michaels, Cole Hassell, Jordan Lee and Dan Wood with a goal each while Joe Moore and Dan Kellogg replied for the hosts. Wirksworth Ivanhoe have coped with the flood of fixtures as well as anyone, taking their winning run to nine with an eye catching 4-0 win against Melbourne Dynamo, Harley Taylor’s hat trick and one for Ewan Sutherill doing the damage. However, that run was ended on Thursday night with the previous Saturday’s victims, Blidworth Welfare producing a performance which didn’t match their position in the table to gain almost instant revenge. All the action was in the second half, Charlie Miller and Henry Eastgate gave Blidworth a solid base and as the game became a little heated, Miller got his second and Elliott Cauldwell made it four before Lewis Higton hit a late consolation for the visitors. Two defeats in midweek for Mickleover Athletic, the first at Gresley Rovers reserves which finished 3-1 with Evan Wynne, Finn Cooper and Davis Komney the scorers for Gresley, Ethan Cole Tonks with one for Mickleover. They then visited Bakewell Town where Rob Littlewood gave the hosts an early lead, Mickleover equalising before Littlewood and Archie Sykes gave Bakewell a two-goal advantage. A second goal from the visitors took the game to half time and also ended the scoring, the second half proving goalless. Holbrook St Michaels took three points at Derby Singh Brothers, Rich Hanslow (2), Dan Kellogg and Joe Moore inspirational in a 4-2 win, Joshua Yeboah and Kofi Agyemang with the goals for Singhs.
SATURDAY’S MATCHES
With the champions and runners up already decided, interest usually switches to the other end of the table but even that has looked settled for a few weeks with Yorkshire Main already pencilled in, RHP finding their first season at this level a steep learning curve and AFC Phoenix dropped in it by a long list of defeats, going down 3-0 at home this week to Staveley Reserves for whom Sam Davis got all three. At Newark, visitors Rossington Main Reserves totally dominated the first half and were four up by half time. Dylan Betts scoring twice, Noah Kilcoyne and Joe Storey with one each. The second half proved almost the reverse with RHP attacking at will. They were rewarded as Ryan Attwood scored from the penalty spot and Clownes Steele halved the deficit. Rossington fought back, Betts completing his hat trick before Steele scored a second, the final score 5-3. Elite AFC won a close game at AFC Bentley 2-1 with goals from Travis Gordon after 13 minutes and Brodey Burden on 63. Bentley got one back, Rafael Sebastian scoring in the 76th minute but couldn’t find the equaliser. SJR Worksop were 3-0 winners at Teversal, Cameron Baines with the opener on 22 minutes, Luke Tong doubling the score on the stroke of half time, Aaron Redfern sealing the win midway through the second half. Harworth Colliery and Kinsley Boys shared the points in a 3-3 draw, Billy Stafford giving Harworth the lead after just two minutes, Lucas Stubbs equalising with eight minutes on the clock. Rhys Hughes put Kinsley ahead on 32 but the lead lasted for only four minutes before Stafford brought the sides level before completing his hat trick in the 74th minute only for Jack White to grab a point seven minutes from time.
Selston have one hand on the Premier Division South trophy after their 2-0 win at Holbrook St Michaels where goals from Jordan Black left them two points in front of Graham Street Prims with a game in hand. Goals were rather hard to find with one exception. That was at Derby Singh Brothers where visitors Melbourne Dynamo scored six without reply, Harry Simpkins and Jack Goodband with two each, Tyler Withers and Thando Moyo also on the scoresheet. Cromford & Wirksworth Town switched their match to Blidworth which obviously suited them. Stu Baker and Matt Wilkinson Goals were rather hard to find with one exception. That was at Derby Singh Brothers where visitors Melbourne Dynamo scored six without reply, Harry Simpkins and Jack Goodband with two each, Tyler Withers and Thando Moyo also on the scoresheet. Cromford & Wirksworth Town switched their match to Blidworth which obviously suited them, Stu Baker and Matt Wilkinson’s goals neatly lifting them out of the bottom three. A Tom Selby goal was enough to give Bakewell Town the points against Linby Colliery, while Borrowash Vics and Wirksworth Ivanhoe couldn’t find the net.

As Burngreave United have appealed their expulsion from the League Challenge Cup due to allegedly playing two players who are under contract at Guiseley AFC, the semi-final at Linby Colliery tomorrow night and the final at Alfreton on Sunday have temporarily been put on hold whilst the appeal process takes its course.

Midweek fixtures
14.04.26
Little Eaton 2–1 Rowsley 86
Little Eaton and Rowsley 86—third and fourth in the table—served up a fiercely contested clash at St Peter’s Park, and it lived up to every bit of its billing. The game was tight, tense, and full of bite, with both sides refusing to give an inch.
Ender Elik broke the deadlock for the hosts before Shilo Wilson added a second, sending the home crowd into full voice. Rowsley weren’t going quietly, though—Elliott Nunn struck back to set up a nervy finale. Despite late pressure, Little Eaton held firm to claim a hard earned victory in a match that felt like it could swing at any moment.
Wirksworth Ivanhoe Reserves 4–5 Ripley Town
What a rollercoaster at Wirksworth. Nine goals, end to end chaos, and a result that keeps Ripley Town’s promotion charge roaring forward. Ripley came out firing: Josh Wisdom opened the scoring on 15 minutes, George Evans doubled the lead shortly after, and Joseph Bacon made it three before the half-hour mark. William Welch then stamped his authority on the game with goals in the 40th and 71st minutes, completing a brace and giving Ripley just enough breathing room to survive the frantic finish. Wirksworth Ivanhoe Reserves battled bravely and kept the scoreboard ticking, but with their goalscorers unreported, the spotlight falls firmly on Ripley’s relentless attacking display. A wild 5–4 win, and a statement performance from a side with their eyes firmly on promotion.
15.04.26
Mayfield FC 3–1 Sleetmoor United
Mayfield FC kept their promotion hopes alive with a lively 3–1 victory, piling the pressure on the Division One West leaders. Thomas Wain set the tone early, Paul Williams doubled the advantage, and super sub-William Stelfox sealed the win with a cool finish after coming off the bench. Sleetmoor’s Jacob James grabbed a consolation, but Mayfield were in control from start to finish.
Inter Belper 3–2 AFC Normanton
A dramatic mid table clash saw Inter Belper edge out AFC Normanton in a five goal thriller. Both sides created chances, but Inter showed real grit, especially after being reduced to 10 players for part of the match. Chris Turner was the star of the show with a brace, while Issac Caddy added another. Normanton fought back through two sharp finishes from Jak Lightly but Inter held firm to take all three points.
16.04.26 – DIVISION TWO
Cromford & Wirksworth Town Development 2–0 Little Eaton Reserves
Cromford & Wirksworth Town Development had to dig deep to overcome bottom placed Little Eaton Reserves, eventually securing a 2–0 win. Details are limited, but the result keeps their momentum going as the season heads into its final stretch.
SATURDAY 18th April
MACRON DIVISION ONE NORTH
Crowle A 1-2 Rossington FC
Rossington FC have wrapped up their debut season in the CMAL in spectacular fashion, winning 13 of their 14 matches and drawing one against second placed App Frodingham. They capped off their campaign with a thrilling 2–1 away victory at Crowle A in the final game of the season. Hajdar Ukperaj put Crowle ahead in the 25th minute, but Rossington roared back with goals from Bradley Billam and Lee Holmes, sealing the comeback and underlining their dominance. Rossington finishes the season in emphatic style — a statement year from a team clearly on the rise.
Macron Division One East
Linby Colliery Welfare Reserves 1-0 Shirebrook Soldiers
Last season Division One East Champions have had a poor season so far, and this game was no different, with Samuel Coxon scoring the winning goal for Linby Colliery Reserves.
Long Bennington FC 1-0 Kirton Brickworks
Long Bennington beat Kirton Brickworks with a goal from Jack Marshall.
Woodhouse Colts 4-1 Teversal FC1918
Second placed Woodhouse Colts just keep delivering, cranking up the pressure on the league leaders — and this match was no different. Another explosive four goal haul saw Kyle Chadburn, Jordan Ingram, Joshua Smyth and super sub-Karl Bullock all find the net. Teversal did hit back through Ben Charlesworth on 24 minutes, but the Colts’ momentum was simply unstoppable.
MACRON DIVISION ONE WEST
Belper United Development 0-1 Inter Belper
Inter Belper secured a strong away win, overcoming their local rivals with a confident 3–1 performance. Inters goal came from Guy Wilding.
Melbourne Dynamo Reserves 1-3 Rowsley 86
In a fiercely contested match, the visitors emerged victorious with a 3–1 win. Melbourne Dynamos struck first, thanks to a brilliant finish from Thando Moyo in the 37th minute, giving them a 1–0 lead at halftime. But Rowsley roared back in the second half, netting three unanswered goals to seal an impressive 3–1 triumph for Rowsley 86.
Ripley Town FC 4-2 Eastwood & Kimberley FC
In this top versus bottom clash, Ripley might have expected a gentle run out — but the scoreline tells a completely different story. Ripley burst into life in the 49th minute when substitute Yann Tresor fired home the opener. From there, the floodgates opened. Josh Wisdom doubled the lead in the 57th minute, Joseph Bacon added a third in the 67th, and William Welch sealed the rout with a fourth in the 73rd minute. Eastwood did find the net, but no details of their goal scorers were provided.
Wirksworth Ivanhoe Reserves 1-1 Sleetmoor United
In an end-to-end game, it was Brodi Cyster who opened the scoring for Wirksworth and the equaliser from substitute Morgan Quinn Boyle who scored for Sleetmoor.
Macron Division One South
Burton Hornets 1-3 Derby Gazers
Derby Gazers are continuing their charge up the table with another good win. Leading at half time through Lewis Smiths 18th minute goal. Ryan Thompson equalised just after the break, but chances kept coming for the away side with Smith getting his second in the 56th minute and Mason Wright came off the bench to score the final goal in the 70th minute. The home side only answer was a gaol from Ryan Thompson in the 65th minute.
Castle Donington FC 2-2 Hemmington Hammers
In this local Derby, both teams will be disappointed that they couldn’t take all 3 points to elevate them up the table. Hammers scored their two goals in the first half and the Dons fought back with two goals from Josh Charleston in the 69th and 82nd minute
DRAYTON PACS DIVISION 2
Aston Village 2-2 Markeaton
A top of the table showdown delivered pure drama as the league’s two best sides battled to a thrilling 2–2 draw. Markeaton struck first when Alistair Brown fired home in the 57th minute. The Village hit back quickly, scoring in the 59th and again in the 67th to turn the game on its head. But Markeaton’s goal machine wasn’t finished. Deep into added time, Alistair Brown stepped up once more, smashing in a last gasp equaliser to rescue a point and ignite the away end.
Little Eaton Reserves 2-3 Winster Darley Lions
This was a 7-goal thriller from two teams in the lower part of the table. Winster Darley Lions goal scorers were Liam Ashton with two goals and Harry Stephenson. No goal scorers declared for Little Eaton.
Punjab United Reserves 4-3 Bargate Rovers
In a late change of venue, it was an exciting game with 7 goals, the home team won by the odd goal. It was 1-1 at half time. At the final whistle the game ended 4-3 to Punjab United Reserves, The Bargate goals coming from Shane Briddon a brace and one from Jason West
Duffield Dynamo 4-2 Mickleover Athletic Reserves
Since the end of January, Duffield Dynamos have won 8 league and League cup games which has seen them move up the table and a reason why they now lie in 3rd place. Cassiun Langfield opened the scoring in the 25 minute, followed 5 minutes later with the first of Jude Wright goal. Cassiun Langfield scored his second in the 60th minute before Jude Wright scored his second minutes from the end of the game.
Rowsley 86 Reserves 2-2 Ashland Rovers Reserves
After last week’s fine win, Rowsley began this match full of confidence and conviction. They made a bright start and took an early lead after just six minutes. A well-weighted pass from Bedford found Walker, whose excellent control allowed him to set up Slater to finish calmly. Rowsley doubled their advantage on 21 minutes. Lanigan’s through ball once again picked out Slater, although his initial effort was saved, the rebound fell kindly to Walker, who lobbed the ball into an empty net. The home side had further chances to extend their lead, but it was Ashland who struck next. On 42 minutes, Hughs gambled on a long ball, getting between the keeper and defender to divert it into the net, making it 2–1 at half-time.
Two forced changes at the break appeared to disrupt Rowsley’s rhythm, and Ashland began to dominate possession. Their pressure paid off on the hour mark when a long-range effort from Davies deceived Watson in the home goal, bringing the score level at 2–2. Rowsley responded and thought they had regained the lead, but Slater’s close-range finish was ruled out for offside. Ashland then took control of the game. Brennan tapped in on 73 minutes to put the visitors ahead, and poor defending allowed Farrelly to run through the centre and calmly slot past Watson for 4–2 after 80 minutes. Deep into added time, Hughs grabbed his second goal to seal an impressive away victory for Ashland.

Central Midlands Alliance Premier Divisions - Roundup for Saturday April 18th
MIDWEEK
The mad rush to get all the outstanding matches played before the FA deadline began in earnest with matches taking place every night of the past week. The Camper UK Premier North title is now a two-horse race, Kinsley Boys having, two points and two games in hand on Dinnington Town. Dinnington came within minutes of conceding possibly fatal points at Burngreave United, almost inevitably it was Jordan Turner who rescued them. They had profited from a 12th minute own goal, their opponents equalising through Christian Ngeudoe on 19 before Turner converted a penalty just two minutes later. Hisham Awadh brought the sides level again before Turner’s late rescue act. Harworth Colliery’s challenge fizzled out a .and led with a Reece Jones goal at the end of the first half, Brandon Hooley equalising on 53 minutes. There was another very late winner at Teversal, Cameron Pinnick finding the net six minutes into added time to deny AFC Bentley the draw. Earlier the visitors had taken a first half lead through Deven Hannon, Tye Macaskill levelling three minutes after the interval. A polished performance from a young SJR Worksop side brought them a 6-1 win at RHP Sports. Callum Hayward put them in front in the eighth minute, Liam Arnold adding a second before Will Taylor got one back for RHP. Hayward and Callum Evans increased the lead, Evans completing a quickfire hat trick with two in the last five minutes, which perhaps made the final scoreline look a bit over-emphatic.
The top of the Premier South also has the appearance of having two teams who are contesting the title, but a third contender is still in with a shout. While Graham Street Prims were without any midweek commitments, Selston had a 4-0 win against Blidworth, due mainly to a first half hat trick from Tom Batterham after 7. 17 and 40 minutes, Alex Hardman with the fourth a couple of minutes from time. Borrowash Vics had a mixed week as they and Linby Colliery were the first of the many teams who will have to play two midweek matches in the same week as well as holding down a full-time job. Tuesday night saw them going down 2-1 at home to Melbourne Dynamo, Oscar Supple’s goal beaten by Dynamo’s Jack Griffiths’ double while Linby won 2-1 at Holbrook St Michaels, Louis Fazal and Charlie Tassi scoring for Linby, Anri Burmeister replying for the hosts. Linby and Borrowash met on Thursday with a reversal of fortunes, Borrowash winning 4-2. They were gifted an own goal in the 33rd minute Oliver Curd making it two a couple of minutes before half time. Paddy Stefaniak got one back on 45 minutes but there was still time for Jacob Hawksworth to restore the two-goal lead in stoppage time, Linby took their role as hosts a little too far by gifting another own goal on the hour, Mason Moore with a consolation goal in the final minute. Wirksworth Ivanhoe beat neighbours Bakewell Town 2-1 the visitors leading in the 8th minute through R’Niall Brissett, Wirksworth taking the points with an own goal on 45 minutes and one from Ewan Sutherill ten minutes from time. Holbrook Sports were the third side with a double booking. The more significant game was Tuesday night’s defeat of Staveley Reserves, a single goal in the 54th minute, scored by Dylan Muir putting them into the semi-finals of the League Cup. Thursday evening brought a 2-2 draw with Holbrook Sports, Nathan Bennett scoring twice, Singhs replying with goals from Christian Ndeugoe and Khaleeq Shaffique.
WEEKEND GAMES
Borrowash kept their hopes of featuring in the race for the title alive with a trip to Tideswell where they edged past Bakewell Town 2-1. Andy Boateng put them in front on 11 minutes, the hosts levelling on the half hour. An Adam Clark penalty after 73 minutes secured the points for the Vics. Graham Street Prims are now just one point ahead of Selston who have two games in hand after dropping points with a 2-2 draw at Cromford and Wirksworth Town. Prims’ scoring from an own goal and an Alex Coates penalty. The points were also shared at Holbrook St Michaels where Melbourne Dynamo were the visitors, The match finished 1-1 Jake Dodds scoring from the spot for Holbrook, Jake Peverley replying for the visitors. Holbrook Sports warmed up for their Cup semi-final with a 2-1 win at Blidworth Welfare. The match began with a quick exchange of goals, George Dyson giving Blidworth a 2nd minute lead only to see it disappear two minutes later when Nathan Bennett got a quick equaliser. Bennett was also responsible for the winner which came after 73 minutes. Wirksworth Ivanhoe moved up to fifth with enough games in hand to go even higher unless the crippling schedule of eight games by May 9th proves too much Their match at Mickleover Athletic ended in a 3-2 win, Ewan Sutherill with two goals, Lewis Hughes also on the scoresheet.
Dinnington Town returned to the top of the Premier North table, second half goals bringing them three points at Ollerton Town. Following a goalless first half, Nathan Jessop gave the visitors the lead on 54 minutes, Connor Peace following it up with a second four minutes later, Robbie Gregory’s 77th minute penalty completing the scoring. They lead by a point from Kinsley Boys who have three games in hand. Teversal’s up and down season continues. After going down to strugglers Glapwell the previous week, they recovered sufficiently to beat third placed Brodsworth Main, a single Ty Macaskill goal in first half stoppage time proving sufficient. AFC Bentley left it late to capitalise on a good second half performance and pinch the points from under the nose of Harworth Colliery. The visitors looked good for the win at half time. After George Hughes had opened the scoring for Bentley in the 16th minute, a quick double from Daniel Boulton on 22 minutes and again three minutes later, Brandon Hooley got a third five minutes before half time. Hughes scored again ten minutes into the second half before the match was turned on its head in the last few minutes, Mark Baggaley brought the sides level on 84 minutes, Luke Flanagan dealing the killer blow a minute from time. SJR Worksop took their unbeaten run to seven with a 3-2 win against Staveley Reserves, George McKernan, Scott Wesley and Callum Edwards the scorers. Elite AFC travelled to Rossington Main Reserves, returning with a 3-0 win thanks to Brodey Burden, Jacob Swales and Travis Gordon. At the wrong end of the table Glapwell finally escaped the bottom three after a 2-0 defeat of RHP Sports for whom the first season at this level has been a steep learning curve. The scorers for Glapwell were Evan Palmer on 12 minutes and Toby Francis after 38.
