British Mini Bikes Round 2 - Teesside: A promising weekend, sadly derailed by weather, injury and technical trouble. Storm Dave did a great job of keeping most of us awake/concerned about gazebos blowing away. My paddock buddy, Jamie Smith had a nasty highside that resulted in a trip to hospital in a sling (get well soon!) and multiple component changes to work around recurring misfires, meant way too much time spent in the gazebo or generally tending to other things. Managed a comfortable 4th in race one, before retiring with a misfire in race two - this one occurred mid-corner, lifting me out of the seat! Looking to come back here with Norasport in May for redemption. 👍🏻

British Mini Bikes Championship round 2! It’s come around fast! Practice day - done. Started pretty poorly in all honesty, however a gearing change and minor suspension tweaks made enough of a difference to gain some confidence and the last session was by far, the best, tagging on to round 1 podium finisher/winner Mat Linley of Team Linley Racing which, was a surprise! Gotta make that work through qualifying tomorrow and race day Sunday. Back holding up better than I thought, nothing a good stretch and light pain killers won’t resolve. More to come!

Full strip, drain, clean and inspection of the forks, before adding some tasty PlazCutz Racing parts to make em work…properly! Fresh oil, rebuild….and go! 😎

Back at Cedar Tree Chiropractic with Artur for a once-over before race weekend - feeling positive I’m fit to ride. 🤞🙌🏻

Sadly, back on the treatment table following a significant flare up of the 2022-2024 injury. Hoping Artur at Cedar Tree Chiropractic can knock me back into shape for racing in only few weeks time. Fingers crossed! 🤞🙌🏻
