Great training session tonight, Warriors!

We started with some 2v2, with some great movement and skill on show from the boys. We then moved onto Chase Down, where every player made it to the finish without being tagged!

We finished with a 5v5 friendly, where we saw some great runs, passing and some excellent crosses.

Another really positive session from the boys!

TRAINER OF THE WEEK – LUCAS!

What a session from Lucas today! He really got his head down, stayed focused and gave it everything. He showed some brilliant movement and passing in the 2v2 and then pulled off some fantastic saves in the game! 🧤

Brilliant work today, Lucas — well deserved!

Amazing game from the boys yesterday

Ulleskelf gave us a really tough game, but the boys kept battling right until the final whistle. There was some really good football on show, with the Warriors creating plenty of chances and probably deserving a few more goals.

A couple of mistakes in front of our own goal unfortunately gifted Ulleskelf their goals, but that’s all part of the learning process and gives us a few things to work on going forward.

Overall, the team are continuing to show some really good progress, and the improvement across the whole squad is fantastic to see.

🏆 Parents' Man of the Match – Elliott

An amazing work rate from Elliott today, both attacking and defending. He made some fantastic runs and worked tirelessly throughout the game. He just couldn’t quite find the finish he was looking for, but another brilliant performance from him. 👏

🏆 Coaches' Man of the Match Oliver

Another fantastic performance from Oliver, especially down the right wing. His work rate was brilliant, constantly getting back to defend and then using his speed to drive forward and cause problems. Finished the game with two great goals to cap off an excellent performance. 👏

💪Great training session tonight, Warriors! We focused on 1v1 defending, working on how to force the attacking player in one direction while closing off the other option and making it difficult for them to get past us. There was some really good defensive work on show, with the boys starting to understand their positioning and when to make the challenge.

We then moved onto 1v1 closing down before the pass, working on getting out quickly, closing the space and putting pressure on the attacker before they had time to make their next move.

Some great effort from the boys tonight, with plenty of good defending and some things we can continue to work on.

Trainer of the Week
Kyran

Kyran worked really hard tonight, listening well and putting what we worked on into practice. He then showed great effort in both attacking and defending during the game at the end. Keep it up.

Brilliant effort, Kyran!

Match Day – What a Performance!

The boys were asked before the game to start with a strong defensive mindset in the first quarter, and they went out and did exactly that from the first whistle. We pushed the opposition onto the back foot, worked hard to get back into shape and defended brilliantly as a team.

We opened the scoring in the first half from a corner, and the second quarter continued in much the same way. The boys kept working hard defensively, shutting the opposition down in our third and starting to put some great balls over the top to create opportunities.

In the third quarter, we took our foot off the gas a little, which gave the opposition the chance to come forward more. But once again, Lucas was there when we needed him, pulling off some amazing saves to keep his clean sheet.

Going into the final quarter, the message was simple — leave everything on the pitch, and that's exactly what the boys did. The effort, determination and work rate were brilliant right until the final whistle. We created chances and made some great attacking runs, we were just unlucky that we couldn't find that final finish.

Overall, a fantastic team performance. The boys listened, worked hard for each other and showed great defensive discipline throughout. Plenty of positives to take from today!

Parents’ Man of the Match – Lucas 🏅

Lucas was absolutely fantastic today! He pulled off some amazing saves throughout the game, commanded his box really well and showed great confidence coming off his line when needed.

When we took our foot off the gas in the third quarter and the opposition started putting us under pressure, Lucas stepped up and kept the team in the game with some brilliant saves, protecting his clean sheet.

A fantastic performance from Lucas today — a very well-deserved Parents’ Man of the Match! 👏🧤🔥

Coaches’ Man of the Match – Carter 🏅

What a performance from Carter today! He played in several different positions throughout the game and gave absolutely everything in each one.

He made some fantastic runs down the wing, played on the left and also spent time up front, where he made some great runs and was unfortunate not to get himself on the scoresheet.

Defensively, he was absolutely brilliant. When the opposition managed to get into our final third, Carter was there to shut them down, make the right decisions and stop them from progressing. He also followed instructions brilliantly, putting the ball over the top when asked to.

Honestly, this is some of the best football we've seen from Carter in a while. He listened, worked hard and gave everything wherever he was asked to play.

A fantastic performance and a very well-deserved Coaches’ Man of the Match! 👏🔥⚽

Up the Warriors! ❤️

A tough game for the boys today, against a good side who started exactly as they meant to go on. They made it difficult for us to move forward and caused plenty of problems for our defence in the opening quarter.

In the second quarter, we started to settle into the game and began putting together some good runs and creating opportunities. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t find that final finish.

The third quarter followed a similar pattern. They managed to break through us again, but we had a few glimpses of some really good football, with chances that were just inches away from coming off.

The fourth quarter saw the boys keep pushing right until the final whistle. There were some great runs, good passing and plenty of effort, but once again we just couldn’t find the finish against a very good goalkeeper.

A difficult game, but plenty for us to take away and work on. The boys never stopped pushing and that’s all we can ask for. 💪⚽

Parents’ Player of the Match

🏅Oliver🏅

What a shift from this lad today! He was up and down the pitch from start to finish, getting stuck into the tackles and never shying away from a challenge.

He made some great runs, played some really good passes and worked hard both going forward and helping out defensively. He also had a few chances on goal, with his shots just unfortunately falling short.

A brilliant all-round effort and a performance full of determination, hard work and commitment. 👏🔥

Coaches’ Player of the Match

🏅 Remi🏅

What a performance today! He was absolutely outstanding defensively, making some brilliant decisions throughout the game and doing everything he could to deal with their attacks and protect our goal.

He stayed focused, worked incredibly hard and was always in the right place to make that important challenge or interception. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything more from him today.

He is really starting to show just how much he is improving, and performances like this show that all his hard work in training is paying off. 🔥👏

Absolutely deserved!

⚽ *Good training session tonight, boys!*👏

We started off with some *1v1s*, with some great attacking and defending from all the boys. While working through the 1v1s, we also focused on our *long ball*, with some really good attempts. It’s something we’ll continue to work on and develop in future sessions.

We then progressed into *2v1s*, again seeing some great attacking and defensive work. From there, we moved into *3v2s*, where there was some excellent movement both with and without the ball, with the boys continuing to show good understanding in both attacking and defending situations.

We finished with a little game that brought everything from the session together, putting the *passing, moving and receiving* into practice. It was also great to hear the boys communicating with each other throughout the game. 👏⚽

🏆 *TRAINER OF THE WEEK – REMI*🏆

Tonight, Remi put in a *mega performance*! His defending was fantastic, but he also showed us a different side to his game with some great attacking play — even managing to put a few in the back of the net! ⚽🔥

Brilliant effort tonight, Remi. Keep it up! 👏

*Up the Warriors! 💙⚽*
