A quieter Sunday than usual for the Girls Pathway, with just three teams in action. 💛🖤⚽

Both our U12 Blacks and U14 Blacks are at The Rock, with the U12s finally getting their long-awaited home debut, while our U12 Golds head over the river.

Our U14 Yellows are back on the road this weekend, this time heading to face Glasgow Girls. 💛🖤⚽

After two strong wins on the bounce, the girls will be looking to keep that momentum going and make it three in a row. Good luck, girls!

It’s matchday for five of our Girls Pathway teams today, with our U12 Golds and U12 Yellows making their matchday debuts at The Rock. 💛🖤⚽

And while today's Old Firm may be Scotland’s most famous derby, it’s not the oldest… our U10 Yellows are on the road to face Vale of Leven in the latest girls’ edition of Scotland’s longest lasting football derby. 👀⚽

A huge result for our U14 Yellows today with a 3–1 win away to league leaders Drumchapel. 💛🖤

A really hard-fought game against a strong side, and the girls had to dig deep and show plenty of character to get the result. Brilliant effort from everyone. ⚽👏

🧤 Goalkeepers together at The Rock!

A little glimpse of our dedicated goalkeeper training, with our young keepers working alongside the senior Women’s keepers and learning from each other. 💪

Another great example of what we’re building across the Women & Girls pathway — shared facilities, shared coaching and a clear connection from our youngest players right through to the senior team.

Plenty of hard work, plenty of saves and maybe just a little bit of competition! 🧤⚽ 🖤💛

Magnificent 7⃣!

Last weekend saw history made at The Rock as our girls pathway teams took the hallowed turf for the first time.

And it was a particularly special moment for U14 right-winger Eilidh Doherty and her family, as she followed in the footsteps of her Papa Andy MacEachran by pulling on the No.7 shirt as a Sons player at our home ground.

Andy, also a right-winger, wore the same number 60 years earlier as a Sons player - turning out 14 times for the club between 1966 and 1968.

And he was in the stand at The Rock - sponsored by Marbill Coaches proudly watching as Eilidh and her teammates played out their first match at the stadium. With Eilidh already achieving something her Papa didn’t manage, as she was on target on her home debut in a fitting 7-0 DFC win!
