Football Sundays!

We had a super morning at a festival hosted by Glenburn today! The boys worked really well as a team, with some amazing passing on show! Lots of goals, lots of clean sheets and smiley faces! Well done everyone, see you on Wednesday ⚽️💪

On Saturday we played a friendly fixture against our fellow Morton team, Morton Thistle Juniors 2020 🤩

The boys did great, showing lots of good passes, goals but most of all sportsmanship! Great role models for our younger players. We wish the 2020s the best for their first season - go smash it! 💪

Special shout out to our latest team mates, Max and Archie who have recently joined our team and had a great first game on Saturday! They received their first appearance medals 💜🩵⚽️

Back to training on Wednesday - then we go again on Saturday with a fun fours festival in Ayr ⚽️

We’re delighted to welcome to the Edinburgh International Cup 2026! 💙⚽️

The club will be represented across several age groups, with their Boys U8s, U10s, U11s, and Girls U10s all set to take part. It’s fantastic to see such strong representation, highlighting Morton Thistle’s commitment to development, inclusion, and giving young players the chance to enjoy football at its best. 🙌✨

We’re really looking forward to seeing all of the Morton Thistle teams in action and sharing an unforgettable tournament experience in Edinburgh next summer! 🏴⚽️

Well done to our 12 volunteers who all undertook the practical element of their National Sports First Aid qualification this morning, led by our own qualified trainer, Jackie Oram.

Football Saturdays!

Great morning of football for these boys against Cumnock today! 4 games against Cumnock and a Morton v Morton game at Hillview Leisure Centre. Boys were really starting to show off their passing and they netted lots of goals ⚽️

After what seems like the longest winter break ever the boys were buzzing to be back in action today with a tournament at Ayr Whitletts. We played games against Caley Thistle, Winton, Glenburn and Lochryan. The boys were brilliant - winning 4/5 games and running their socks off!

Great effort troops! See you all back in training on Wednesday 💪
