A few reasons to pop up …

So as many of you know Home baking HQ is an everyday occurrence. This week we’ve ramped it up as I’m away for two weeks and we needed to make sure the fridges and freezers were full of treats ready to be baked….step in the young brigade….all fully barista trained and holding a Level 2 food safety their job was simple…bake bake bake. I’m so proud of all these smashing folk and also proud the training we give them will set them up for jobs during further studies wherever they end up ( although I’m keeping them a while 😜). Holly, Meg and Katie who you’ve all met up at the trailer have made..:wait for it…

WE ARE HIRING
Hi all,
We are looking for a very enthusiastic and cheerful member of staff. It would be for 3-4 full days a week (to be confirmed) and will include weekend days
Workday is 7.30am- 4.30.
Good Hourly rate plus pension etc
Breakfast and lunch provided.

Role will include working on short order grills, barista and front of van.

We will be honest and say working here is not for the feint hearted and all staff are expected to just get on with it. When it’s busy it’s key we work really well as one team. training will be given.

We’d love it if you were already Barista trained and had level 2 food safety. However if not we can train the right person to our standard and ways of working.

The grills are hot, the van is small, we love a singsong, our customers are great and you’ll meet some fab folk. Most of all we work really hard but also have a good laugh.

Wow is that…Stanley Tucci at James' speciality coffee bar. Team quick I wonder what he’d like to order.

Apparently Stanleys’ favourite sandwich is
Italian Mozzarella, Prosciutto, Pesto, Basil sandwiched between 2 slices of Italian Bread…and toasted in a panini press…have we got this he asks..

Sì, lo facciamo signor Tucci
We’ve also added a small portion of home made roasted tomato soup for dunking.

As we say in the van…aaahhhh Stanley.

Whilst here why not pick up a lovely plant or something from the garden centre. Stanley loves a nice garden…allegedly 😊

With the help of my amazing “Friday Girl” I’m delighted to say we are back . Today it’s the return of Empires, Cinnabons and our moist 🤦‍♀️ carrot 🥕 cake. Other chocolate treats are also available. Thanks for all the nice and thoughtful messages/chats after my unplanned 5 week break. All is well and finally looking forward to the year ahead..albeit at a slightly slower pace. ❤️ #2023
