Dundee sporting club is a friendly community - focused grass root football club based at old glamis road.
Our club provides a positive and supportive football environment for young players across our 2011 - 2017 age groups, helping them develop not only as footballers but also in confidence, teamwork, respect and friendship.
As a club we believe our responsibility doesn’t end when a player finishes their grass root journey and are committed to supporting our players as they progress into adult football.

We took on Arbroath this morning at Hercules den, with an early start and drizzly morning coaches told the boys to go out and be hungry for the ball and to focus on the task at hand.

The boys done great were match the Arbroath side, with Arbroath going in front we manage to claw a goal back from Rhui with a stunning strike from outside the box.

Coaches tried to push for the equaliser but unfortunately it didn’t come.

Onto training Tuesday and Thursday we will be looking to develop in game scenarios and work on set pieces

We want to wish Arbroath all the very best for the remainder of their season

Tonight we played riverside at the Astro down at the university pitches, we told the boys to put in the effort and they’ll get their reward.

Well they did just that, the boys put in a great performance tonight against a well drilled riverside team.

There were chances and great football being by both sets of players in a very close and tight game

Rhui managed to be our only goalscorer in our new kit kindly sponsored by our new away kit sponsor Copleys Flat Roofing

A tough tie against a very good and disciplined Carnoustie side, we tried to push for a goal coming close on a few occasions with one bouncing 3 yards from the line, unfortunately couldn’t get the ball into the net.

After a rainy start to Sunday morning sun decided to come out at old glamis Road as we took on Maryfield Utd.

We knew going into this game that it was going to be a tough and well disciplined side.

Maryfield were passing the ball very well and could have been a lot more goals if it wasn’t for our No.1 in goal super Mo

Mo kept the boys in it with some fantastic saves, shouting encouragement and motivating the boys from the back.

We then scored from a Lennon shot that the Maryfield keeper saved but parred it out to Kai at the back post who swiftly knee’d it in⚽️

Well the boys fought hard today in tough hot conditions, fair play to the kirrie boys they wanted it more, with a couple of defensive errors kirrie punished us but more positives to take away from a very even game.

Nathan being our only scorer today from a Rudy cross, our number 7 was flying today not shying away from any tackle and passing was immense so very well done worthy of MOTM today 🏆
