Today’s game against an unbeaten fintry!
With a red card for a punch from there boy off the ball to stop Paul gooch McGowan going through on goal, a lot of boys missing from the squad and last minute calls off to add to the list, the score line speaks but the boys showed there moments of football played, this behind us we look towards our next game against fairmuir! Who we drew against already in a 3-3 tie!
Some good football by the boys that stepped up today and a lot to reflect on all the best to Fintry who we’ve also drew in the Scottish Cup 🤝
Well done to everyone on the pitch for taybank today for not stopping!
Motm decided by Fintry Charlie purves in the sticks who despite conceding 11 goals pulled off some great saves too!

After the first league fixture didn’t go the way we had planned and an embarrassing midweek friendly defeat, the boys look to Sunday in our next league fixture against another newly formed but top end team! The boys already fighting an uphill battle with a lot of missing boys and coming off the back of two embarrassing games are looking to see how they can do against a team who are unbeaten across all competitions!!

Today we took on Dundee athletic in our first cup game! Taking a 7-2 victory!
A lot of really good football played today boys stepping up into positions they’re not familiar with, the strikers doing what they do best and one Paul (gooch) McGowan, even dropping back in the second half to help strengthen the core of the team, speaking of core… mick mcbrearty Michael Easson Bradley Roache and David Buchan putting absolute shifts in the midfield with a lot of great playing holding the ball up ghosting it around boys and making perfect runs and passes the whole time they played! The back line was strong and firm throughout even after the changes made in the second half! With Dode starting in unfamiliar surroundings stepping up and putting a shift in along side today’s captain David McGrath the whole back line was solid and didn’t let a lot chances through! Keeper Charlie made some great saves today and commanded his box very well!
The substitutes who all came on in the second half did there best with Marc Roy coming on at CB and having an instant impact and Kyle nicoll grabbing a goal towards the end!

MOTM this week with a hatrick and an assist! Is Danny “007” Craig who chased the ball down created multiple opportunities for himself and others and showed a real fight up front! 🏆
