⚽️ MATCH REPORT 💛💙

What a performance from the boys today! 👏

From the start, they moved the ball really well, worked hard for each other and showed exactly what we’ve been asking of them in training.

Despite finding ourselves behind at half-time, the boys didn’t let their heads drop. The message at the break was simple, keep working hard, keep playing our football and the rewards will come. 💪⚽️

And they certainly did!

Josh got us back into the game with a brilliant equaliser and from there the boys kept pushing. After a really good spell of pressure, Robbie won us a penalty before stepping up and calmly dispatching it to put us ahead! 👏⚽️

The most pleasing thing today was the way the boys worked as a team, kept going and believed in themselves, even when things weren’t going their way.

A thoroughly deserved victory and a performance the boys should all be proud of! 💛💙

A big thank you to Arbroath Maroons Blacks 2015’s for the game today, and we wish them all the very best in their next match.

Well done, boys! Enjoy that one!

MON THE FERRY! 💛💙

🎁💛💙 RAFFLE PRIZES WANTED 💙💛🎁

We’re getting everything organised for our Ferry Athletic 2015s Fundraising Quiz Night on Friday 18th September

We’re hoping to put together a great raffle on the night and wondered if any local businesses, friends, family or supporters would be kind enough to donate a raffle prize.

Any donations, big or small, would be massively appreciated and will help us raise as much as possible for the boys. 🙌⚽️

We completely understand that not everyone will be in a position to donate, so even just sharing this post to help us spread the word would mean a lot.

If you’re able to help us out with a raffle prize, please drop us a message.

Thank you as always for all your support! 💛💙⚽️

Both sides will be looking to put in a strong performance as they battle it out for the win. It should be a competitive one right from the start! ⚽️💪

⚽️ MATCH REPORT 💛💙

Not a great day at the office for the boys today, but plenty for us to take away and work on.

We started brightly and found ourselves ahead twice, both coming through unfortunate own goals from our opponents. As the first half went on, though, we lost our way a little and went into the break behind.

At half-time, the message was simple, keep doing the right things, work hard for your teammates, keep passing the ball and keep moving. 💪⚽️

Unfortunately, it just wasn’t to be today. Heads started to drop as the game went on, but there were still positives to take. Josh finished off a really well-worked team goal, showing again that when we get the ball down, move it and play as a team, we can produce some really good football. 👏⚽️

Some days just don’t go your way, and today was one of them. We’ll keep working hard with the boys in training, keep encouraging them to play the right way and learn from these games together.

We dust ourselves down, move on and look forward to Arbroath next Sunday! 💛💙⚽️
