As our PYL teams close in on the end of the season with the final round next week, this week's matches saw our boys take center stage with an incredible showing—bringing home 3 wins and a draw!

Meanwhile, our girls continue to show fantastic progress, determination, and teamwork in their inaugural season. Watching both programs grow and compete each week has been a highlight for the entire club.

What a fantastic event bringing our entire JDL Boys and Girls Squads together to celebrate an incredible season!

Every player was recognized with a trophy for their hard work, skills, and growth on the pitch. A huge congratulations to the deserving recipients of the Bridene Doherty and Matt Lee Achievement Awards, presented to one stand-out player from each squad!

JDL Technical Director Craig Plain spoke to the crowd, highlighting the immense improvement across all squads and thanking our dedicated coaching group for their tireless commitment throughout the year. The kids were also treated to an inspiring talk from our NPL Coach, Blair Newham, giving our young stars plenty of motivation for their future football journeys.

A very special shout-out went to our amazing Canteen Ladies—we know they run the absolute best canteen in the entire competition! 🍕🥤

Thank you to all our parents, volunteers, and supporters for your constant encouragement from the sidelines. Most of all, thank you to all our JDL players for your passion, sportsmanship, and for making the 2026 season one to remember!

The weekend results are in, and what a huge round of football for our Kahibah FC community teams!

With our Over 35 Fri team already locking in their Grand Final spot last week, the pressure was on our remaining teams to slug it out for a place in the big dance. After a massive effort yielding 2 wins, we are proud to announce that 3 Kahibah FC teams will be representing the club on Grand Final day!

A massive commiserations to the teams that fell short this weekend. We know you left absolutely everything out on the pitch, and the whole club is proud of your effort, heart, and dedication throughout the season.

We will post full Grand Final match details, kick-off times, and venues later in the week so you can come along, wear the green and black, and cheer your favorite teams on to victory.

Carrying a 2-1 aggregate lead into today’s crucial second leg, the boys put on a masterclass at home to secure our spot in next week's promotion/relegation final!

6' | GOAL! We hit the ground running from the opening whistle. Jackson Burtson caught the defence off guard and finished sublimely into the corner to make it 1-0 on the day and extend our aggregate lead.

HALF TIME: We kept pressing for a second throughout the half, creating chances and controlling the tempo. 1-0 at the break (3-1 agg).

SUB & GOAL! Daniel Byrne was introduced into the match in the 60th minute and made an instant impact. Matt Homer threaded a brilliant ball into Byrne’s path as he burst into the box, and he calmly slotted it past the keeper to double the lead in the 70th minute.

88' | GOAL! The Homer/Byrne connection struck again! Homer set up Byrne once more, who bagged his brace with a sharp finish to wrap up the match and complete a stunning performance.

A magnificent effort from the entire squad from start to finish. Thank you to all the supporters who came out and made plenty of noise!

It’s crunch time for our Kahibah FC PYL Boys and Girls as we head into the penultimate round of the regular season this weekend! 🟢⚟

With finals fast approaching, every single point matters. Some of our squads are looking to finish the season on a high, while others are in tight battles needing all 3 points to secure their spot in the final's series!

The boys are taking a short trip down the road to take on our local rivals. There’s always extra motivation in a derby, and the boys will be looking to dominate on away turf and leave with maximum points.

The girls host Newcastle Olympic for a massive Sunday showcase. We need the Kahibah faithful out in full force to pack the sidelines, bring the noise, and cheer the girls home.

We head into the deciding home leg of our NPL playoff series carrying a 2-1 advantage over New Lambton FC looking to book a spot in the final.

The job is only half done, and we need the entire Kahibah faithful lining the fence at Fred Wright Oval to help carry us over the line.

Thanks to our 2-1 victory in Leg 1, a win or a draw on home soil sees us secure aggregate victory. To keep our mission alive and guarantee our spot in the NPL for next season, we must advance from this tie to reach the Promotion/Relegation Final.

This weekend marks the final round of the 2026 season for our Kahibah FC JDL teams!

Our junior development girls and boys squads have put in a monumental effort all year long. Seeing their remarkable growth as footballers has been incredible, but most importantly, seeing them play every week with huge smiles on their faces proves the future of Kahibah FC is in very bright hands.

A massive thank you goes out to our dedicated coaches, managers, and tireless supporters—our JDL program simply couldn't run without your time, energy, and passion.
