Caledonia Utd 2- 8 Kinross colts

Having been on a good vein of form playing much better and giving teams a go, the boys Were up for this one.

The game was pretty even to start before Kinross broke the dreadlock with a cracker. That was the recipe of the entire game where Kinross did their thing and punished small mistakes and just looked like a slick outfit.

Two belters from Scotty made the night less painful but we take alot from this game again. Some much much better passages of play and some good efforts.

Well done Kinross colts over 35s cracking effort, always like playing a disciplined team. There good reason your challenging for the league. All the best from us and have a great finish to the season

Friday means game day baby!!

Friday at the Dunfermline campus sees Caledonia take on Kinross colts over 35s in the league.

Last time out we chased some shadows and got the steps counter up chasing the very well drilled Kinross boys full of promis as a team.

It’s going to be a tough test for us but we’ve stabilised recently and we’re getting 2 hrs away from the wife and bairns, what’s not to like.

Caledonia Utd 1-2 Cowdenbeath

Caledonia back in league action and taking on the new Cowdenbeath over 35s.

Quite an even game across the pitch with both teams having a few chances. Good movement from cowden makes it 1-0 quickly after Scotty sends in a peach over the keeper - as much curl as a 1980s hairdresser.

Shortly after the captain makes a run forward, strikes the ball from distance and rattles the upright. One more foot to turn and it would have been in. Not that he mentioned it right enough 🙄

All round a good performance , a steady performance from the lads.

We go again in Friday at home to fintry in the cup!!

Caledonia Utd 3-3 dollar

Turned out to be a good game back and forth.

First 20 minutes or so dollar were good passing and full of running some ridiculous saved by big Rhys and in fact an accomplished performance from the big fella.

Against the run of play the handful Johnny slotted in to make it 1-0. As the game progressed it was even when dollar equalised.

Two more goals from Johnny and one from dollar made it 3-2 an we were in command.

Roll on the last minute of the game and a loose ball evades the defence, the game is even at the whistle.

A good game and we grew into it .

On to the next one.

League result

Caledonia utd 2-2 bayside.

Safe to say there was an improvement from last weekends loss to st monans. Last week we were brutal this week way better.

A change of personnel and a change of attitude has led to a great result for Caledonia anyway.

2-0 at half time and bayside quite busy in the centre with good play and a 15-20 minute spell where we were pinned back.

Second half we were superb. Tackling and better positional play, good attack up the flanks and a solid back line. Well taken goal from Scotty and a deft touch from ally to score and draw at 2-2. We had plenty chances to make it 3-2 with a half way belter from the gaffer and saved well, few wry shots in the second half.

All in a great result and this shows we’re improving.
