Had a spooktacular time dancing with Willow and Selene at the Moonlight Minxes show tonight.

Séléné started bellydancing in France three years ago and moved to the UK last year where she joined the lovely Eastern Desires group. She's been trained in cabaret bellydance in France and has been exploring other styles since she moved to the UK. She is currently extending her knowledge of Egyptian style bellydance, loves learning new things, and is especially keen on exploring tribal fusion bellydance. She loves adding veils or Isis wings to her dancing as she enjoys the aerial and feminine touch it brings to a performance.

Willow is a serene, fluid and graceful dancer. She has been dancing for 5 years and has experience of both Tribal Fusion and Cabaret Bellydance. The enigmatic Willow, enjoys fusion style choreographies, but is currently extending her knowledge of Egyptian style bellydance. She enjoys dancing with props in her performances, and particularly likes dancing on her drum! Recent performances include The Mad For Life charity event and the Voodoo Cafe, Darlington.

Orchid is a charming, graceful and expressive bellydancer. She has experience in performing both Tribal Fusion and Cabaret Bellydance and can use veils, canes and fan veils to enhance her performances. Orchid's dancing always conveys femininity, sensuality and emotion.
Recent performances include Assembly Rooms Theatre, Durham, Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre, Hartlepool, Voodoo Cafe, Darlington.

Maxine has been learning Bellydance for approximately 2 and a half years now and has undertaken a number of performances at Haflas, charity events and restaurants. Her favourite style is cabaret as she likes to dress up with lots of sequins to add sparkle to her shimmies. She likes to dance to a range of music from popular to traditional and is often seen dancing on her favourite prop - her drum!

Raven has been bellydancing since 2008. She was immediately drawn to the lovely sequined costumes associated with oriental bellydance, which is her overall favourite style of bellydance. Raven, however, is also a fan of tribal fusion and loves the heavy, dark costuming which is in sharp contrast to all the sequins and bright colours found in other styles. She really enjoys floorwork and includes it whenever possible. When performing, Raven often references several different bellydance styles, with Turkish being a particular favourite. She likes to dance with props, her favourite being Isis wings. Raven loves nothing more than being in front of an audience and was born to perform!
