Player of the Match in our 1-0 defeat to WARK was Ryan

really unlucky not get the result after wasting around 10-12 chances but the lads played some lovely stuff but just could not get a response to the cheap goal they gave away.

Ryan played really well and battled hard in the midfield a really well deserved player of the match

Tough one to take last night.

Losing 3–2 in the dying minutes always hurts, but the reality is our overall performance wasn’t at the level we’ve been showing in training.

We were far too lazy and lacklustre — not much team play, and not even doing the basics that are expected of us. That’s not who we are, and it’s not what we’ve worked so hard for.

We need to bounce back quickly and raise our standards before the season kicks off.

Every one of us knows we can do better — now it’s about showing it on the pitch
