As always if you are local to the venues please go down and cheer the kids on!

Hinckley AFC Lions travelled to Solihull for their first MJPL fixture vs Hollywood United in what was an evenly matched game.

A difficult moment in the second half led to two of our players being taken to A&E. Understandably, the group were shaken after that.

Final score 3-0 to Hollywood. Wishing our two lads a speedy recovery.

Hinckley AFC U14 Phoenix rounded off their pre-season with a hard-fought draw against a strong Ashfordby Panthers side.

In a closely contested game, the hosts took the lead midway through the first half.

Hinckley AFC responded well after the break and deservedly levelled early in the second half with a wonderful long-range strike from Devon Trower — a real moment of magic!

Overall, it was a fantastic battle between two well-matched teams and a superb game to watch.

Our player of the match went to Sam Bedford who impressed at right back.

A big thank you to Ashfordby for the game, and best of luck for the new season! 👏
