Beachy Head Marathon 🏃🏻

My first Marathon & Possibly the hardest Marathon in the country.

Happy to complete this mammoth of a challenge with just under 1 year of running experience.

My training had been very spotty at times which was a real shame leading into this as I hadn’t ran for about 3 weeks.

I have never ran further than a half marathon!

Nonetheless thank you to everyone who has supported me and given me the courage to push through and complete it.

My finish time was 6hrs 38 minutes which I am happy with but would like to strive for a better time next year…..

Special thank you to .ula for pushing me through leading up to the run, being there for me at the finish line and helping with my recovery ❤️

Thank you to for taking on the challenge with me and supporting me through. 💪🏻

On to the next challenges in my running journey here’s to Eastbourne half where I’ll be aiming for sub 2hrs 🏃🏻

Marathon Training

The realisation of taking part in my first marathon is starting to hit me.

In October I’ll be taking part in the Beachy Head Marathon.

26 miles across the Seven Sisters.

Plenty of steep ups and downs along the coast physically.

But also very much a lot of ups and downs mentally.

This will be my hardest challenge to date but one I look forward to.

Each run I get stronger and understand my own capabilities.

I learn from my mistakes and where I need to improve.

This half marathon was lack of fluids.

I stiffened up and was struggling to run toward the end.

Going into this I keep telling myself I’m not bothered about the time I just want to finish it.

Regardless of the result on the day I’ll be happy with what I’ve achieved.

I’d recommend to you all if there is a challenge you want to take on to push for it.

Body Recomposition !!!

In just 3 Months !

Changing your body shape stripping body fat and building muscle while keeping a busy social and work life balance.

This is the goal my client had she wanted to have a better shape without losing to much weight and putting on to much weight.

Finding the balance with Nutrition and the right training program to target the areas we need the most stimulus.

Focusing on a high protein diet with low fat and carb intake we were able to create the shape she was looking for.

Finding the balance required a lot of hard work and focus and she smashed it !!!

Main noticeability from the change in her back to waist and glutes.

All areas that were a main priority.

If you are wanting to make a change follow the link in my bio for a FREE CONSULTATION !!!!

111.9kg - 93kg in 5 months !!!!

That’s a reduction of 18.9kg that’s close to 3 stone of weightloss !!!

An unbelievable transformation not only physically but mentally from

He has show true dedication to the plan and has stuck with his nutrition while juggling a busy work and personal life.

James would come in smash his workouts and go the extra mile to make sure he was also hitting his cardio targets whether that’s on the treadmill or going for long walks hitting up to 20k steps per day.

His confidence has grown week by week which is shown by his wins when we would check in with me weekly.

Remember it’s not all about the scale weight it’s how we look and feel that’s matters most.

It has been a pleasure to coach James bringing him down to his goal weight and I look forward to seeing him improve even more as we try and build from here.

If you are someone who is struggling at the moment with your weightloss journey whether it’s Nutrition or not knowing where to begin I’m here to help support you.

Send me a message or fill in my coaching form in my Linktree.

I want to help create the best version of you !!

RunTalkRun It’s Been An Amazing Run

Yesterday marked the last run that I’d be leading RunTalkRun Eastbourne and my god it did not disappoint at all !!!

Starting my running journey 7 months ago leading my first run back in October to see how the group has evolved and grown is amazing.

My biggest turnout with 14 amazing people coming and showing their support for this fantastic group ❤️

We had it all we had perfect weather with stunning views great chat and laughter along the way.

RunTalkRun has brought a massive change to me, it helped me when I was at one of my lowest points and gave me such happiness I will always be thankful for this safe space.

I can’t thank everyone enough who has supported the group along the way and who has came and supported it through the cold windy rainy nights were we often feel at our lowest those runs will always be my favourites.

RunTalkRun isn’t going anywhere and will now be held on Mondays with meeting at Eastbourne Pier at 6:20pm for a Run time of 6:30pm. A big thank you to Jess to keeping it going ❤️

Thank you to for pointing me in the direction of this fantastic charity and giving us a home for 7 months to meet and support me through my hard time.

I am hoping to one day start my very own run group after seeing how much of an impact it has on everyone.

Next Stop Good Food & Drink

Days out are always a struggle to try and keep within the lines of a healthy diet.

A few little tips that can help you keep on track or at least give yourself a better understanding of your fun times out socialising.

1. The Banker - if you know you have an event or a social occasion coming up you can plan ahead by taking 100cals less each day to give yourself an extra 700cals of room the day you go out.

2. The photographer - Don’t want to fixate on tracking as you eat or in between conversations with friends. no one likes someone who isn’t present in the moment, why not take pictures of the food you eat and then later that evening or the next day you can track.

3. The Planner - if you are like me and like to find cool or interesting places to eat you’ll more than likely look at the menu before you arrive, by doing this you can make better choices and make less impulsive decisions. Look out for the different cooking methods used to understand how your food is cooked for example opt for baked rather than fried.

4. The Mixologist - Liquid calories exist ! I know sometimes hard to believe little things to take into account when swapping food for a liquid lunch or dinner a 355ml beer has roughly 145cals, 45ml of Gin or Vodka is roughly 96cals add a mixer of coke or lemonade can add another 300cals, so my advice switch out the full fat coke for a zero calorie option.

5. The Free Spirit - it’s one day ! This won’t ruin your progress, it won’t send you back to the start, to gain 1 pound of body fat you’d need to eat 3500cals over your maintenance!!!

Which one best fits your lifestyle and approach to eating out ?

If you need more support and structure with your nutrition send me a message to get started.
