One last Floating Sound Bath under the open sky. ♡
This was my final outdoor Floating Sound Bath at David Lloyd Northwood for this season. Thank you to everyone who joined the session and shared this beautiful experience with me.
And while the outdoor sessions at David Lloyd are coming to a close, my own weekly Sound Bath sessions continue.
From 11 October, you can join me every Sunday at 10:45 at Eastcote House Gardens for a one-hour Sound Bath — a space to slow down, listen and simply be.

There’s so much I might never have discovered if I hadn’t found sound.
My journey with sound baths and sound healing started with listening. Over time, I realised there was so much more to it.
It taught me to notice the quieter things - the breath, the silence, another person. To slow down without feeling like I’m falling behind. To leave space for things that don’t need to be understood or fixed straight away.
Working with sound is still teaching me.
About the people I meet.
About the world around me.
And perhaps most of all, about myself.
I don’t know who I would be if I hadn’t taken this path.
I only know that today, I listen differently.
What has your path taught you?

Crystal singing bowls have a sound that’s hard to mistake. But what actually makes them sound the way they do?
There’s something fascinating about hearing a crystal bowl continue to resonate long after the first contact with the mallet.
Part of what makes that experience so distinctive can be explained through acoustics — the relationship between vibration, resonance, material, shape and the way the instrument is played.
And perhaps knowing a little more about the physics doesn’t take anything away from the experience.
It makes listening even more interesting.
Swipe through to explore the science behind the sound.
And when you’re ready to move from reading to listening, join us for a KATHĀ sound session. ♡
