Pavilion on the park has been a big part of my life over the last 10 years I want to thank Daisy Robinson for being the most encouraging and supporting leader you ever wish to meet.
I've had so many really amazing experiences from winning Volunteering awards with Cycles4all, going on the Wetwheels speed boat with Geoff Holt , Doing a sky dive and even getting an invite to a royal tea party at Buckingham plaice.
I've met and worked with the most wonderful, caring and fun people across the whole range of projects available at the Pavilion . Thank you all for the fun, friendship and experiences we have shared over the years.
If anyone is looking for a rewarding volunteering role in the future this is the place .
Had a delicious afternoon tea delivered today, 4 different types of sandwiches, cake and scones all packaged and in a brown paper bag. A fantastic treat, the only thing that spoilt it was the weather so we couldnβt sit in the garden. It was also a great way to support the charity in providing meals to the vulnerable during the covid-19 pandemic and it meant we were able to stay safe and have a much needed and wanted treat. Thank you

Hi. Is there any update on the pollution in the river problem. I spoke to some Environment Agency workers there on Monday who said that more diesel/fuel was in the river due to all the bad weather over the weekend etc. They said they are investigating 2 possible sources. You could really smell the fuel in the water again!! π I wouldn't let my dogs anywhere near the water - but it's so difficult to stop them when they get hot. This really needs sorting out once and for all!
