It’s great to announce that the gym is getting behind and supporting yet another member. Dylan Thomas is smashing it at Heriot’s Rugby Club this season.

The gym is a small business but we try and support as much local talent as we can with what we have. Whether that’s a place to train for an athlete, help with travel fees to comps we try our best to be more than just a place to train.

Well done to our member and competing strongman Cole, who finished second in East Lothian’s Strongest Man Today 🥈.

Having done really well in his first competition just over two months ago, Cole has worked real hard to get onto the podium especially hitting such big PBs in multiple events today!

Cole competes again in just a fortnight and we can’t wait to see how he gets on 💪🏼

We are all contributing and building something very special in Edinburgh. Times are tough for everyone and thank you all for investing your hard earned money into the gym. It’s hugely appreciated.

I built this place from ground up with help and support from a loyal crew, some of whom are still around today. I’m just one person, I don’t have an unlimited budget or deep pockets but I invest everything back into the gym to make it a great training environment.

Some things take time and move slowly but that’s what happens when you not a globo gym.

You keep training and I will keep pushing to make this gym the best it can be 👍👊💪

Feedback on this has been awesome. The movement path is second to none.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to upgrade the gym. There’s going to be a bit of re-organising over the coming weeks but it will be worth the slight disruption as it enhances the training atmosphere.

Last week we added the new chest press and this week we add a new cambered bar.

Continuing to reinvest in our member experience. Thank you all for supporting 👊💪👍

WHEA GB Britain’s Strongest Natural u85kg 6th place for Jamie who was invited to compete in Halifax. Ended up in the middle of the pack on some of the events and mixed things up, putting pressure on competitors. Already back in the gym building for the next outing.
