A personal post!
This car has been a dream of mines, and then with hard work I was able to make that dream come true.
Almost 2 years of ownership, it’s time to part ways.
You might be wondering,
Why get rid of it when you like it so much?
And this is when things get tricky 🤔
You have a vision of what it’s like to achieve that dream, whatever it might be.
When reality hits, that dream is very different from reality.
This is true for aesthetics goals and other little dreams we all have.
It’s great to achieve, but they will come and go.
Have your goals and dreams, but expect them to not be as nice as it might seem.
Onwards and upwards 🚀

There is no right or wrong way to do this.
It all depends on your goal and on that day’s macronutrients 🤔
I say this to all my clients:
Snacks should be a way to either satisfy your cravings
Increase protein intake for that day (or other macronutrient)
Keep you going between meals
I have provided you with a few options for ‘healthy’ snacks to get some ideas from

Maggie always struggles with body image..
Why do I want to talk about it?
Because many male and female gym-goers do ❌
🤔How often did you look in the mirror and think ‘omg I’m fat, I need to lose weight’
I know lots of people (including myself sometimes) who get in that negative mindset.
It doesn’t get you anywhere!
A solution to this 👇🏼
Look at progress pictures and progress in the gym
Are you lifting heavier?
Are you getting better with your lifting technique?
Have you made progress in the last 6-12 months?
If you can say yes to any of these, you are doing better than 90% of the population!
Look back on how far you’ve come.
Don’t procrastinate 💪🏼
Enjoy the process and keep tracking your progress 🔥🔥

Do you lack focus? 🤔
Going to the gym is already a huge achievement, but..
Do you tend to hang about and get distracted easily?
If the answer is yes then you need a solution 🚀
You need to feel good about being there and there are many ways to achieve that.
You can either wear clothes that make you feel confident
Have a routine that makes you focused
Listen to inspiring music
Or try having a written gym program which will keep you busy on the task
There is no simple solution to this
Try multiple things and find what works best.

Pancake Tuesday🥞
You can make it one of two ways..
Go crazy or go smart crazy 🤣
I am currently on prep so trying to be a but smart with what I eat.
I still eat what I want, just keeping a healthy approach to it all.
If you can make it on your own, you can make it high protein (the case with most meals)
Adding things like protein powder or greek yoghurt is a simple and cheap way to increase your intake.
Another way to make it healthier is to just add fruit as a topping rather than sugary sauces.
However, you can do all that if you have the calories and the rest of your day is looking good with your food.
Knowing when you can go all out and enjoy vs holding back and taking a healthier alternative is a skill you need to pick up with time.

Not a very ‘fitness’ related photo, but hear me out 👇🏼
My dogs are a very important part of my life.
For you, it might be your kids or something else.
How often did you wish you were in better shape because that bus would have not gone from under your nose.
Or you could engage more with your kids, if only you did not get tired after 5 minutes of running.
For me, I do have physique goals as a priority (more on those later) but I want to be able to go hiking with my needy doggies.
If you don’t see the point in being fit for yourself, do it for the people/ things you love.
Being fit and healthy has 0 downsides, but many advantages.

Down 7kg without having to stop takeaways and keeping a good social life!
How is it possible…
It’s simple really,
Consistency, gradual progression In training and tracking 🔑
You don’t need to change your lifestyle completely from the get go.
Make small changes to your current lifestyle without feeling overwhelmed.
Have a plan of action so you know what the end goal is!
Most importantly, having accountability is where the long-lasting results are made.

Do you drink enough water?
If you do not drink at least 1.5l of water then the answer is NO 🛑
This has many negative influences, but let’s focus on fat loss👇🏼
So what has water to do with fat loss, you might be wondering
Often when you feel hungry, your body is actually dehydrated and is asking for water therefore, you end up eating unnecessary calories
Water actually creases how many calories you burn throughout the day…
How crazy is that, right 🔥
What’s even more crazy, that you might not know about is
You lose body fat through p*e so you need to drink enough water to make that process happen
There are many more advantages to consuming enough water but this should be enough to get you thinking about it the next time
I always stress this to all my clients!
