Grangemouth based, rm2020 is the largest and quite possibly the finest modelmaking company in Scotland.

Contact us today to find out what we can do to bring your ideas and projects to life. An eerily quiet Rosyth Docks allowed us to collect our 1:450 working model of The Forth Bridge in absolute solitude during lockdown for some essential bridge maintenance on behalf of Cruise Forth.
Not quite a full repaint due to the new longer lasting paint used these days ;) but some track cleaning, a tidy up and the addition of Inchgarvie, the small uninhabited island under the bridge.

Interesting Fact: The part of Inchgarvie we see above water is the top of an igneous crag and tail structure similar to the Edinburgh Castle Rock and the Royal Mile formed by glacial activity.

The Lakhta Centre in St Petersburg is now the tallest building in Europe standing at a whopping 462 metres tall! (1516 ft)

We had the privilege of building a couple of the models for the architects who designed it...a polished perspex model at 1:1000 and a larger 1:200 beast that reached the limits of our workshop with only tuppence clearance.

1/12 scale model of John Cobb's Crusader.

John Cobb was a Brooklands racing hero who became the fastest man on water reaching an amazing 206.89mph on Loch Ness in 1952 but was never awarded the record as Crusader hit a boat-wake and disintegrated, killing him before he could repeat his world record breaking feat.

Our model is on display at Loch Ness Visitor Centre

1:200 scale proposed library redevelopment, NI.

If we were making and selling these here Fish Automata Machines by the box load, this pic of the FM would be on the cover. Happy days!

Our most recent foray into automaton. Sturgeon liking Salmon...there's a joke in there somewhere but we're just fishing for punchlines.
