Bench Press Championships summary:
🥈
Kelsey made her debut on the powerlifting stage, starting straight at the national level. She showed great composure and gained valuable experience for future comps.
We chose a conservative approach, aiming to go 3/3 on her debut. After a smooth second attempt at 70kg, we needed 75kg to win — but with the craziest external circumstances anyone could imagine, it just wasn’t there on the day.
Super proud of Kelsey for making this happen, and excited to keep working with her to take that top step of the podium next year

Block summary:
Some big PBs and the entire program ran injury-free.
The cherry on top was hitting the big milestone of a 200kg squat — I was too hyped to record it!
• Squat: 200kg (+17.5kg PB since last comp — video is 190kg from a week earlier)
• Bench: 125kg (+15kg PB since last comp)
• Deadlift: 220kg (+10kg PB since last comp)[deffo need more practice with power bar here].
Total: 545kg (+42.5kg) at 81.5kg BW
The goal now is to bring it to the platform in August, keep improving, and show my face at the Classics next year.
