A busy weekend for all our teams. Our Pele teams head to Falkirk on Saturday for games against Gairdoch United.

On Sunday, our Pele teams have their second game against Pentland Orange and Golds.

Our Iniesta team are away to Cramond on Sunday too.

As we head into the next block of fixtures we are currently recruiting players for our pele and Iniesta team. Training twice a week, loads of extra fixtures planned plus lots of activities off the pitch too. DM us for further information and arrange to come along to a training session.

As we close out our 2025 block, we want to give a shout-out to two of our players who are moving on to pro-youth.

Both players showed resilience as they trialled at several academies, not only dealing with additional travelling and training but also knockbacks along the way. Both became close friends at Salvesen, which shows how important grassroots is for more than just sport.

Jack - Notoriously known as JC, Jack went to battle every week for the team. We still don’t know what he runs on, but his tireless work up and down the pitch was matched by ridiculous footwork, relentless runs, and some truly unique assists. Excited to see you take the next step in your journey at Falkirk.

Arlo - Each week, Arlo showed exactly why he deserved his place in the top league, playing a year above his age. Infamously known as the “Magic Man,” he consistently pulled something special out of his bag of tricks, finding ways to put the ball in the back of the net. Congratulations on taking the next step with Hibs.

As we look ahead to the next block of fixtures Salvesen 2015 are looking to recruit more players for their Pele and Iniesta teams.

- Training Monday/Thursday at Forresters High School 6-7.30pm
- Regular games outside of league fixtures
- Monthly training sessions with Neil Hastings (Premier Football Academy)
- League games on Sunday

Trials start on Monday 5th January.

It may only be four months but across the squad we have packed in a huge amount on and off the pitch every week.

The squad ran 10k and raised over £4k for the squad funds. We have been all across the Central belt too with over 17 friendlies with teams and academies across our three teams.

Outside of fitness, we have also enjoyed pizza, bowling and team meals without our sponsor .

Due to players moving on, we have spaces in our Pele and Iniesta teams for new players. If you would like to be part of our 2026 squad, please drop us a message.

A festive fun night for the boys to wrap up a fantastic season. They’ve all come such a long way, and what better way to finish than with a football tennis tournament, pizza, and adults vs kids!🍕⚽️🎅🏼
