Good luck to all our young players currently competing at the Lexus Junior National Championships in Nottingham.

Flying the flag 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for East of Scotland Tennis are Sarami R and Hasiika P (both U10 Girls); Kate Murray, Kana Saito and Natalia Augustynska (all U14 Girls) and Frank Atkins (U12 Boys).

Running from 14 to 23 August, the event brings together the top players in the U11 to U18 age groups, and provides the highest level of junior competition in Britain.

We’ll be keeping you updated with the action during the week! 🎾

Well played 👏🏻 East of Scotland Tennis U18 Tea Cup team this weekend! After just being edged by West in the semi finals, they beat South in the 3rd/4th place play-off. 🎾

Our East of Scotland O35s Women are playing at Eastbourne this weekend in Div 4 of County Cup. There have been lots of tough matches but great camaraderie in Team East 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎾 . The seventh event of the 2026 Team Tennis Tour took place at Joppa Tennis Club this morning and it was ALL doubles with great teamwork on show! 🙏 🎾

🎾 38 8U players making up 19 teams
🎾 9 clubs represented
🎾 36 doubles matches played
🎾 606 points scored

The winners of our four round-robin groups were Joppa TC x2, Edinburgh Tennis and Longniddry Tennis Club.

Fuzzy Wee Ball bonus points were awarded to Marcus H & Gabriel M (Joppa TC), Harrison P (Lomond Park), Celine W (Dunfermline Tennis Club), Ida E (Joppa TC) and Olivia H & Arabelle H (Dunfermline TC).

The next event is planned for the 29th August at Musselburgh Tennis Club (EH21) and entries will open soon via the usual method.

It’s back to back finals for our Ambassador Jacob Fearnley as he sees off Michael Zheng in the semi finals of the ATP Challenger Tour Cranbrook Tennis Classic in Detroit this afternoon.

Over 500 players enjoyed glorious conditions at North Berwick Tennis Club and we look forward to the club’s 100th birthday next year.
