Fourteen of our youth riders are making the trip north this weekend for round one of the Scottish Cyclocross Series at Muir of Ord. A long drive, an early start, and for a few of them a first taste of a series race. Good luck to Max, Isla, Reuben, Oliver, Oran, Victoria, Ruán, Charlotte, Isaac, Finn, Alex, Arran, Teo and Max.

Inch Park Cyclocross delivered again. From riders pulling on a number for their very first race, to national champions getting their cyclocross season off to a strong start, it had a bit of everything.

A MASSIVE 51 ERC Youth riders are on the start sheet for the season opener Inch Park Cyclo-cross on Saturday. That's thirteen in the Under 8s, thirteen in the Under 10s, thirteen in the Under 12s, eleven in the Under 14s, and Sarah flying the flag in the women's race. Three Bens and two each of Oran, Max, Orla and Aoife, so shouting names from the tape could get confusing! Come down, bring a cowbell, and cheer on everyone in red!

What a day at Comrie Croft.

The Scottish Schools MTB Championships is one of the highlights of the race calendar every year. Over 500 riders from all over Scotland took part, many of them racing for the first time.

We had a full complement of our MTB crew out representing their schools, with some great results and smiles all round.

Big thanks to the team Morrison's Academy and Comrie Croft for hosting again this year.

Last call! Entries close soon for Inch Park Cyclocross, our club run and a great way into cyclocross season.

Whether you're racing for the first time or just getting back into it after a summer off the bike, this one's easy to get to and welcoming for all levels. No pressure, just a fun way to try cross or knock the rust off before the season gets going.

There's also a one lap charity time trial on the same day, open to juniors and adults, with a very special guest along for the ride. It's listed separately on British Cycling.

Cross is nearly here!

You've got just over a week to get entries in for the season opener at Inch Park.

There is also a one lap charity time trial on the same day, with a very special guest, open to juniors and adults, listed separately on BC as the 2026 ERC Inch Park MTB ITT.

Entries close on Sunday 20 September and there are no entries on the days, so please do not leave it to the last week.

Sunshine, sprints and the final round of the Scottish Youth Circuit series done and dusted at IGNITE. Huge thanks to Clydesdale Colts for hosting a brilliant morning of racing.

Great riding from young ERC riders across the age groups, all giving it their best. Some cracking results to top it off: Corey 3rd in YDO, Esmerelda 2nd in YDF, Finn 1st in YCO and Victoria 3rd in YCF.

Well done to every rider who lined up today, whatever the result. That's the series wrapped for another year and eyes turn towards the mud👀

A big turnout at Glentress on Sunday for the mini DH, with over 110 riders taking on grassroots downhill racing.

Seren, Flo, Isobel, Zack, Arran, Robbie and Scott were all out there flying the flag for ERC, some of them taking on DH for the first time!

Inch Park CX is back on Saturday 26 September!

Racing for every youth age group from under 8 to under 16, plus an open TT and female race for the older categories. The under 16 and under 14 races carry ranking points for British Cycling members. There is a women-only coaching session before the women's race for anyone aged 16 and over.

Our Race Team is taking applications for 2027.
If your child rides road, track, cyclocross or mountain bike, and was born in 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014, it's worth a look. The squad trains and races throughout the season, with coached sessions and a proper step up for riders ready for it. Some of our former riders have gone on to race at British National and professional level and beyond.

Riders should be based in Edinburgh or the Lothians, or able to travel regularly for training.

Applications close Monday 31st August, so there's not long left. Link in bio.
