Currie Fc Girls Under 16’s

What a weekend away!! Back from Blackpool this evening after Friday, Saturday & Sunday down for the football tournament and it lived up to expectations!

Girls made the most of a poorly organised tournament and gave their all in the games then had the best time away from the football too.
Coming up against Premier/academy sides and league winners from leagues around the country they did themselves proud.

Some real core memories that will live a life time for them and for coaches/parents who were down too.

A great group of girls who made the trip and hopefully the the first of many 🙌🏻

Defeat last night at home to Blackburn United, didn’t get going and play to the levels we need so credit to Blackburn who played well and took the 3 points.. one eye on this wkend for our trip away taking 22 girls on there first trip down south 🙌🏻

Big thanks to all who turned up today to support the bake sale, great help from the parents and girls with baking, supplies, setting up and running the show 👏

Deserved win today, made it a bit nervy at the end but will take the win 👏 💛💛💛💛
