A top class cricket club for players of all ages and abilities. There were few significant achievements and low scoring matches were the norm.

Botany Bay Cricket Club, located in the Green Belt to the north of London, was founded in 1899 as a village cricket team supported by the local gentry and landowner. The Club fielded a single team with fathers and sons of the local families playing side by side for more than half a century playing against local clubs. Two big wins this week with the 1s winning on the road against Hemel, and a 10 wicket victory for the 2s as Morley and Lawrence chased down Old Chums total with ease.

GW2 is upon us and the teams are in.

The firsts face Frogmore away, and the 3s travel to Hitchin both searching for the opening wins of the campaign.

The 2s host Kimpton in the hopes of starting the season with a run of wins.

Not the perfect opening weekend but a great win for the 2s on the road and plenty of positives to take into tomorrow. The biggest being a spectacular return from making it onto the leagues top figures with 6-11.
