Whoever you are, you will no doubt see these canisters littered all over our streets. We wanted to do a post to highlight the dangers of this for our young people and their parents. These are nitrous oxide canisters used for people who inhale the ‘laughing gas’ through ‘balloons’. With the substance being legal to purchase, it’s worrying that this is being seen as a harmless and ‘cool’ thing to do for young people. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Breathing in high volumes of laughing gas can cause health problems such as burns, a dangerously high heart rate, choking, brain swelling, nerve damage, anemia and even death. Please think twice about this.

Back for more work tonight with the U12s. Well done to all that came out! ⚽️🔴.

It doesn’t matter how fast you’re going if you’re going the wrong way. Take the time to plan goals whatever they may be and don’t worry about the time it takes to achieve them 👊⚽️🔴.

Tonight it was the turn of our U10 and U11 teams. Again, absolutely brilliant behaviour and attention to instructions by all. 35 players came out for 5 groups of 5. Stations were ready and the players put in great effort. We keep this going until the lockdown eases and we can get back to normal play. Well done guys! 👊⚽️🔴.
