Welsh cob does Dressage

We got our wildcard!! 🥳🥳🥳
Which means we have qualified in the straight and music classes at Medium level!

20 years old and still being an absolute legend!!

The boy did good! 🥳🥳🥳
2nd place in the Medium FSM class at Petplan Area festivals means we have qualified directly for the Championships at Arena UK, still crossing our fingers for a wildcard in the straight class for our score at Bicton a few weeks ago! 🤞🤞

Was the first time visiting onley and will definitely try and get back there this year. We just did the Native champs in 2024 but planning to do the Natives and the Veterans in 2025

Delighted that last weekend our comment from the judge was 'really lovely canter work, showed some real highlights'🥰🥰
Never thought we would see the day that our canter would be the highlight!! The canter work all scored 7+(except the 2 simple changes, which I can't really blame him for as we had a lesson the day before working on the changes on exactly the same lines🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ proving you should look at your test earlier than the night before!)

Next up an advanced medium attempt! 😬

Someone was very keen to be out and was a bit tricky! Did a fab flying change (not required at medium) and randomly stopped mid 10m circle spooking at something that no one else could see 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
But he had a great time and really seemed to enjoy himself which was the most important thing 🥰🥰

Now planning our next few competitions to try and get that summer qualification!
