It was a bright and early 9:00 AM kickoff at Little Kerse as Camelon Juniors Reds faced off against Falkirk FCF Blue in a fantastic, fast-paced encounter! 🏃💨 Another solid performance from the squad on the day who are going from strength to strength! 💪📈

First Half: The Reds dominated play from the opening whistle! ⚽ Moving the ball cleanly across the pitch and pressing hard, the team showed they are definitely putting what they practice week in, week out right into their league games 🎯. The squad is gelling really well together, turning training into sharp, clinical attacking play and putting early goals on the board 🥅🔥.

Second Half: The Reds kept control and dominated play across both halves! 💪 The boys worked tirelessly for each other, link-up play was outstanding, and they continued to carve out opportunities—unlucky only to concede via an own goal 🙈. They kept their heads held high, playing with great team spirit and huge smiles on their faces 😀👏. A total joy to watch from start to finish! 🥳

The Blues made the trip to Kilsyth to take on Kilsyth Athletic Lime in what proved to be an excellent game in the sunshine! 🌞🔥

First Half: The game started well as the Blues looked to move the ball around the pitch quickly and search for opportunities on goal—and they came fast! 🏃💨 The team worked hard on taking chances in training, so it was great to see that practice pay off directly in the match 🥅⚽.

Second Half: Into the second half, the Blues continued right where they left off, creating and scoring even more chances, working as a team, and playing with big smiles on their faces 😀👏. It was great to watch all throughout the game! 🥳

The Reds were on the road this weekend as they travelled to Springburn Park to face West Park Utd Green and produced an outstanding team performance.

From the first whistle, the boys were on the front foot and dominated the game from start to finish. Their energy, determination and teamwork were evident throughout, with every player working hard both in and out of possession. The Reds moved the ball brilliantly, created numerous chances and showed great confidence whenever they were in control of the game.

The attitude and effort from every player was fantastic. The boys worked tirelessly for one another, pressed as a team and showed great quality across the pitch. It was particularly pleasing to see everyone contributing, supporting each other and playing with smiles on their faces throughout the match.

As the game went on, the Reds continued to dictate play with excellent teamwork and a real desire to keep improving. Performances like this are a testament to the hard work the players put in at training and the fantastic team spirit within the squad.

With so many outstanding performances on display, the Players of the Match were nominated by the boys themselves, reflecting just how many players put in exceptional performances throughout the game.

The Blues returned to Little Kerse this weekend to take on Easterhouse East End Utd 2 in what turned out to be a fantastic team performance.

From the first whistle, the boys worked tirelessly to keep possession, create chances and play as a team. Their hard work and determination were evident throughout the first half, with some excellent football being played and several well-taken goals as a reward for their efforts.

The second half started at a fast pace, but the Blues quickly regrouped and continued to work together brilliantly. They showed great teamwork, moved the ball well and made the most of their opportunities. Most importantly, it was fantastic to see every player getting involved and enjoying themselves with smiles on their faces throughout the game.

It was also great to see Logan back at Little Kerse supporting the team while he continues his recovery from injury. We look forward to having him back involved with the squad soon. 💙

🏅 Player of the Match: Jude 🏅

A thoroughly deserved award for Jude, who put in a tremendous all-round performance. He worked hard defensively, drove the team forward with the ball, adapted brilliantly to a new position and capped off his display with a well-earned goal. Fantastic effort, Jude. Well done! 🔵🔴👏

Today's match saw Camelon Juniors Reds take on Riverside FC Sky Blue, and as always, it was a closely contested game between two evenly matched teams. The game certainly didn't disappoint and was a fantastic watch for any neutral in attendance. 👏⚽

The Reds started the game brightly, moving the ball well and producing some excellent passages of play. From the first whistle, the boys showed great intent and created plenty of opportunities in front of goal through their hard work, movement and teamwork. Their confidence on the ball and willingness to support one another was evident throughout the match.
The effort and determination from every player never dropped, with the team continuing to battle and play positive football right until the final whistle. There was plenty of improvement on show across the park today, and it's clear the hard work being put in at training is beginning to pay off. 🔴⚪️👏

🏆 Player of the Match 🏆
Today's Player of the Match was Caleb, who delivered an outstanding performance from start to finish. Caleb worked tirelessly for the team and capped off his display with an absolute screamer of a goal that left everyone watching impressed! ⚽🚀

👏 Special Mentions
🛡️ Jack H put in a commanding performance at the back, leading by example and helping keep the team organised defensively.
🧤 Elijah produced several excellent saves in goal, showing great concentration and bravery when called upon.
🎯 Harris was once again the playmaker in the middle of the park, linking everything together and driving the team forward with his energy and passing.
While the result didn't quite go the Reds' way in the end, it was a solid performance full of positives, and the boys can count themselves unlucky not to take more from the game.

🔴🔵 Match Report | Camelon Juniors 2016 Blues vs Garnkirk FC White 🔵🔴�📍 Chryston High School�⏰ 09:00 KO

The Blues hit the road for their first away game of the block as they travelled to take on Garnkirk FC White in what turned out to be a fantastic game from start to finish.

From the first whistle, the Blues started brightly, taking control of possession and using their pace and movement to great effect. Building on last week's excellent teamwork, the players raised their level once again, working relentlessly for one another all over the pitch. Their passing, movement, and desire to create opportunities were superb, leading to some excellent attacking play and plenty of chances on goal. It was fantastic to watch. 👏🔵🔴

At half-time, the team discussed what had worked well and identified areas where they could improve. Just like last week, they listened, learned, and took those messages straight into the second half.
The Blues picked up where they left off after the break, continuing to work hard for each other and playing with confidence and determination. They kept creating chances, scoring goals, and showing great teamwork throughout. As the game progressed, players were given the opportunity to experience different positions, and every one of them embraced the challenge brilliantly. It was great to see the squad learning, adapting, and continuing to perform at such a high level. 👏🔴🔵

A huge well done to everyone involved today. Your effort, teamwork, and attitude were outstanding from start to finish. 👏

🏟️ Hilltop Primary School, Airdrie | 15 August 2026

The Reds got their league campaign underway with a trip to Hilltop Primary School to face Carbrain FC Navy following an encouraging summer of football and development.

Played on a very large 7-a-side pitch, the game proved a real test for both teams. The extra space meant plenty of running was required throughout, and it was clear that the size of the pitch took its toll as the match went on. Despite this, both sides continued to work tirelessly and served up an entertaining contest for everyone watching. 💪⚽

The match was end-to-end from the first whistle, with both teams creating plenty of chances and opportunities in front of goal. The Reds showed great energy, determination and teamwork throughout, looking to move the ball quickly and support each other all over the park. There were some excellent passages of play, with players linking up well and demonstrating confidence whenever they were in possession. 👏🔴🔵

As the game progressed and tired legs began to show, the boys continued to battle for every ball and never stopped working for one another. Their effort, attitude and commitment were outstanding, especially on such a demanding pitch. The Reds continued to create chances right until the final whistle and showed great resilience against a strong Carbrain side. 🙌

Overall, it was a very positive performance with every player contributing to the team effort. The boys should be proud of how they worked together, supported one another and embraced the challenge of a tough opening league fixture. ❤️💙

🌟 Player of the Match: Jack M 🌟

Jack was outstanding at the heart of the Reds' defence throughout the game. On a pitch that offered plenty of space and resulted in an end-to-end battle, he remained composed under pressure and put in a tremendous defensive display. His positioning, tackling and determination helped protect the goal, while his communication and leadership kept the team organised throughout. Time and again he stepped in with important interceptions and challenges, helping the Reds stay competitive in a game full of attacking opportunities for both sides.
