We get to a time in life - some call it the second half of life, where we get to face ourselves and ask.

Is this working?

We might say- "I can't do this anymore".

It has to get to a breaking down of self, sometimes loss of a loved one or work. Structures collapse.

Then.. we go through the very uncomfortable process of kindling a new way of being.

I went through this a few years back, death. Not knowing what will unfold. On some level it is very beautiful. It is not for the faint hearted. It certainly builds character.

Transforming Fear into Brilliance: Speak YOU 2024
There is a profound interplay between trauma, public speaking, and the liberating power of sharing our stories.
I have lived experience of how childhood trauma has kept me in hiding and... been the brilliant driving force for the work I share with Women.
It’s the gold within me, all the healing, soul searching & wisdom I’ve gained from transforming the fear of judgement. It's what gives me empathy for the leaders I work with, because they also fear the risk of negative judgement when it comes to speaking to an audience.
It can be terrifying speaking our truth as trauma often weaves a tapestry of fear around our voices, convincing us that our stories are too heavy and too fragile to be shared. Visibility feels like we are putting ourselves through trauma again.
As a communication coach I see the fear we feel when speaking to an audience the loss of reputation, what if we come across as “wrong”?
This is an aspect of perfectionism, needing to be perfect is a trauma response, an imprint something like: “To be loved and accepted I need to be perfect”.
The thought of speaking and it not coming out right holds us in hiding.
There's a wonderful Indian story from the Upanishads about two asuras
( demons) that live inside Lord Vishnus ears- like ear wax, one is called “I’m too much” and the other “I’m not enough”, they have blocked this great beautiful “Gods” ears up! Now this is a very old story, thousands of years old, so even way back then humans had an internal critical process of self analysis going on, it’s nothing new!
What if our stories, are our brilliant experience and how others can learn.
Your voice is a beacon, your story, a source of healing for both you and others. It's how organisations evolve because of their people's stories, they learn how to serve them and their customers.
When we step into the vulnerability of public speaking, we embark on a journey of therapeutic alchemy. It's in the act of sharing, of standing in our truth, that we find the most profound connection with others.
That’s what brilliant leaders do, share their authentic story, self disclosure creates safety, we feel united in our humanity.
We completed our Speak YOU 24 Journey.
It has been the most Brilliant experience of what it feels like to truly be in service for Women and have a group which embody unconditional love. It is healing and transformational!

Speaking authentically creates connection, letting others know they're not alone.
A declaration that your voice matters, your story holds significance, a testament to the resilience of your human spirit.
It’s also important to know we never have to bare our soul, keeping some of ourselves for ourselves is a practice of boundaries. Knowing when and who to share with, AND gathering a support network of people who have your back is everything!
It's in our stories that we find our greatest strength.

Kundalini class starting in Falmouth Monday Mornings ( moon day) 9.30-10.45am.🔥
I have been teaching for 18 years now, I first found kundalini yoga when I was 31, I’d been practising yoga for years, yet when I found this I felt I’d come home, I’d found my path. Kundalini is said to be the Beloveds ringlet, rested dormant in the base of our pelvis. Yoga - is a process we begin to awaken this life force, learning the super powers we all innately own, accessing much more radiance, vitality - the magic is we release old beliefs, wounds, patterns easily with this practice with regular devoted commitment.

My class is fun, earthy, strong, real, DEEP, safe, and very inclusive.
We focus on body, breath, Mind, Sound, Mantra, Intention. I totally love yogic philosophy and being a communication consultant for over 20 yes, words, stories and always learning is what keeps me sane. My highest value is love, how can I place more love into the spaces I inhabit.

In my yoga practice we resonate Sat Nam which is the vibration of pure being.
A returning from sleep, a remembering of what is real.
In this coming age we will need to find our compass.
The compass is truth, not subject truth, that’s important - most important is the relationship with our eternal. That which doesn’t change♥️♥️♥️
