🏆🏆 WHAT A SEASON FOR FARNDON! 🏆🏆

What a way to finish!

First, we were crowned CHESTER LEAGUE A DIVISION CHAMPIONS 🏆🥇

And now… we’ve only gone and won the ELDRIDGE CUP! 🏆🍾

Tonight we took on Broughton in the final and came away with the win! 🎉👏

Two massive achievements in one incredible season — and we couldn’t be prouder of every single member of this team.

The hard work, commitment, team spirit and determination throughout the season has been unbelievable

Let’s see what the 2027 season brings us.

🏆THEY’VE ONLY GONE AND DONE IT! 🏆

DIVISION A CHAMPIONS!

Farndon finish the 2026 league season 1st place with an incredible 148 points! 🥳

And look at that gap… 15 points clear at the top! 👀👏

What an unbelievable season from everyone involved. Every point, every game and every win has contributed to getting us here.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way — and of course, we couldn’t forget our little four-legged mascot, Pablo! 🐶 Always there supporting the team and keeping everyone entertained! 😂

A massive well done to all the players, captains, supporters and everyone behind the scenes who has helped make this season such a special one.

Congratulations to our Chester team last night for beating last year’s winners Pen & Pen in the Eldridge Cup Semi - Final. Was a tough game on a very tough surface.

Now onto the final, against Broughton.

Hopefully Farndon can go all the way.

Final will be held on Thursday 27th August at Tarvin.

🏆 Competition Update – Increased Prize Fund & Limited Spaces Remaining! 🏆

We’re delighted to announce that, thanks to the fantastic support of our sponsors, we’ve been able to increase the prize money for our upcoming Farndon Bowling Club Crown Green Bowling Competition!

A huge thank you to VYBE Aesthetics, Wrexham and Bellis Brothers, Holt and EWE Building Plastics, Mold for their generous sponsorship. Your support has made a real difference and has helped us make this year’s competition even bigger and better.

💰 Our updated prize fund is now:
Winner - £400
Runner up - £200
Semi Finalists - £80

📢 Entries are filling fast! We now have very limited spaces remaining, so if you’re planning to enter, don’t leave it too late. Once the competition is full, entries will close.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for what promises to be a fantastic day of competitive crown green bowling, great company and some fantastic prizes.

We played the second round of the Eldridge cup tonight at Tower.

Amazing score, on to the next round!
Well done to all who played and players who came down to support 👏🏼

Outstanding result from our Chester team last night.

We played a very tough game against Northop Hall. The team played great throughout and we only lost 9 points in total.

Keeps us top of the league 💪🏼

We are home next week against Gladstone.

A huge thank you to everyone who played in today’s Farndon Singles competition, and also to everyone who stayed to watch and support throughout the day.

For our first competition in many years, the support and turnout were fantastic and very much appreciated by everyone involved. Despite the very hot weather, there was some excellent bowling on show all day and the competition was played in a great spirit from start to finish.

Congratulations to our winner - Gareth Davies runner-up - Kevin Nicholas and losing semi-finalists - Marcus Hughes & Joe Hayes on some outstanding performances throughout the day.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make the day such a success — we hope you all enjoyed it and we look forward to hopefully hosting many more in the future.

The draw for our Singles competition is now complete and start times have been allocated.

We would kindly ask all players to arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start time to allow for check-in and in case games are running ahead of schedule.

With temperatures forecast to reach around 27°C, we would also encourage everyone to keep hydrated throughout the day and take care in the heat.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day including:
🥓 Bacon baps
🥪 Cold sandwiches
☕ Tea & coffee
🥤 Cans of pop & bottles of water
🍰 A selection of cakes
