Nestled in an old orchard at Mount Ephraim Gardens , Gala and Discovery pods offer your own little corner of the countryside — a place to slow down, enjoy the fresh air and spend a few nights away from the everyday.

With private decks, firepits, hammocks and everything you need for a comfortable stay, there’s plenty of reason to settle in and switch off.

And when you fancy exploring, the gardens are right here too. Ten acres of beautiful gardens, from the Japanese bridge and lake to the rose terraces, maze and arboretum. Closed to the general public from 4 October, they’re yours to discover.

A summer evening, a beautiful sunset and two very happy dogs… 🌅🐾

It’s one of my favourite times of day at the glamping pods. Everything slows down, it’s peaceful, and the dogs certainly seem to approve.

I don’t think summer evenings get much better than this. 💛

From the moment you drive down the back drive at Mount Ephraim on the way to the pods, you’re surrounded by countryside views 🌿

With grass meadows, cherry orchards and rolling hills as far as the eye can see, it’s one of those places that makes you properly slow down for a minute. Fresh air, birdsong and a little escape from everyday life.

Just came across this aerial photo from July 1994 showing the pod field as an apple orchard (it’s the one directly above the left hand side of the lake). This is why we named the pods after apple varieties, Gala and Discovery. We are getting two more pods later in the summer - what should they be?
