Thank You, Wessex Basketball π
After five seasons in the Wessex Basketball Association, we want to say a big thank you to all the teams, players, coaches, officials and supporters we have shared the court with.
We have had many great memories, difficult games, friendships and proud moments. There were times when we were champions π, and those memories will always stay with us.
At the same time, it is sad to feel that the league has changed. We feel that different rules and different decisions have sometimes been applied to different teams, and that the respect and fairness we experienced in the past are not always there anymore. Some decisions have been disappointing and difficult to understand.
We are not writing this with anger, but with hope. We hope that one day the Wessex League can return to the spirit it had in the past β with fairness, respect, equal treatment and basketball at the heart of every decision.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout these five seasons. We will always remember the good times and the people we met along the way.
Respect to all. πβ€οΈ
Now itβs time to look forward, work hard, enjoy our basketball and make new memories together.
New league, new challenge, same passion. ππ₯
See you on the court!
