Today the result didn’t quite go our way however, there was still plenty to celebrate, with some outstanding performances and noticeable improvements in structure and game play.

The Swans came out determined and switched on from the start having taking on adjustments from their previous game. Despite some outstanding scrummaging and brilliant open play Chobham worked to take the win.

Thank you Chobham for hosting us at your pre-match lunch we look forward to the return fixture later on in the season!

Try scorers Lily C, Megan C, Micky, Lottie, Aimee T and a conversion for Lily C

Players of The Match 🏆
Forwards - Arwa
Backs - Lottie
Players Player - Lily C
🪖 of the day - Aimee C for running the wrong way down the pitch and then trying to join the oppositions scrum!! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

We were also delighted to celebrate our Captain Megan as she achieved 50 Caps for our fantastic club today and received a nice bottle of bubbly to celebrate.

Stay tuned there are more cap celebrations to come this season 👀

The swans return to the training field ready for their next game at Home against London Welsh on Friday 30th October KO 7.45pm so put the date in your calendar and bring your best cheering voices!

Despite the recent tropical conditions it was back to cooler temperatures as The Swans kicked off the 2026/2027 season and the clubs centenary year with a home game against local team .

It was a hard fought game with some fantastic tackling and ball skills on display from both sides. Despite the hard work the visitors left with the win and a final score 5-39.

In spite of the loss there were plenty of smiles, some huge positives and some work ons to take back to the training pitch to get ready for our next game on 12th October away at Chobham Women.

Congratulations to Try Scorer today Laura 🥳

A huge shout out to 5 players who made their Swans debut today Saralee, Sumayyah, Becky, Lottie and Lily as well as Jaz returning from Maternity leave!

Players of the match today were:

🏆Lily, Becky and Micky

Our 🪖of the day was Idil for having to borrow the physios boots partway through the game 😂🤦🏼‍♀️
