Great return to competitions
So the 1st competition back in two years and we were so happy to get back on the tatami! With no expectations on us and plenty of new students taking to the mat for the first time it was a good day out for all. I thought it was very encouraging seeing them fighting on very little training but the instinct was clearly there and it’s looking exciting for the coming year. Leading the way today was Rhys Rowbotham who took the category winning gold but showing he’s clearly head and shoulders in front of his opponents! Here’s today medals haul and well done to all who entered today wether you made the medals or not.
Sophie Jones -silver
Odai Atltable - silver
Charlie Thomas - bronze
Bethany Middleton - bronze
Jun Yi Xue - bronze
Garv Sharma - bronze
Effie Pyle - bronze
Rhys Rowbotham - Gold
Scarlett Sherlock- Bronze
Next stop the British !

WSKO Indoor Training
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases over the past week and that RCT are one of the highest areas in Wales... The WSKO Instructors have decided to hold off on starting our Indoor Training Tomorrow..
This was a hard decision for us as we were all excited to get back to some normality..
But safety for Us and our Students is most important..
So for the next few weeks we will continue with our Karate Outdoor Sessions and can please everyone make a huge effort to attend...so we keep training together...
We will then assess the situation at the end of September...
Thanks For Your Understanding
WSKO Instructors
