🖤🧡**Welshpool 0–2 Bont Ladies FC** 🖤🧡

A fantastic away-day result for the ladies as we travelled to Welshpool in glorious sunshine and came away with a well-deserved 2–0 victory!

There were some great improvements in our game today, particularly with our passing, movement and teamwork. The girls worked hard for each other and showed real progress throughout the match.

**Goals:*

Both goals came from Gemma’s dangerous free kicks.The first was expertly headed into the net by Cat making sure the ball found its way home! 🙌

A brilliant performance from Gemma, capped off with two goals from her set pieces. Well deserved! 👏

⚽ **MATCH REPORT | Bont Ladies FC vs Guilsfield**

A tough afternoon for Bont Ladies FC as we welcomed Guilsfield to a wet and drizzly home pitch.

After last week’s win, the ladies faced a very fast and skillful Guilsfield side and unfortunately came away with a defeat.

Despite the result, there was no lack of effort from the Bont girls. They kept battling, kept trying and ran their hearts out right until the final whistle. There were some really difficult moments, but the team showed plenty of determination and never stopped fighting for each other. 💪

🌟 **PLAYER OF THE MATCH – MARGOT (sponsored by Hollywood pizza) ** 🌟

A huge shoutout to Margot, who stepped up at the very last minute to go in goal. Having taken a big hit a couple of weeks ago, it took real courage to put herself forward and take on the challenge.

Her bravery, tenacity and willingness to help the team impressed us all. A fantastic example of putting the team first. 🧤👏

A big thank you to our management team, Tom and Lowri, for all their support, encouragement and hard work, both on match day and behind the scenes. We really appreciate everything you do for the team. 💙

Well done, ladies. Results like this can be hard to take, but the effort, commitment and spirit you showed deserve plenty of credit.

☀️ BONT LADIES START THE SEASON WITH A 4–2 WIN! ⚽️
What a way to start the season! 🙌
Bont Ladies kicked off their first game in a new league with a fantastic 4–2 victory over Newtown in front of a brilliant home crowd on a beautiful sunny afternoon. ☀️⚽️
From the first whistle, Bont showed exactly what they’re all about — working together as a team, battling for every ball and making some fantastic runs that caused Newtown plenty of problems.
It was Gwenno (sponsored by Stella Dart) who opened the scoring, getting Bont off to the perfect start! ⚽️🔥
Next on the scoresheet was Iona (sponsored by AB electrical), with the right winger making her mark and helping Bont build their advantage. ⚽️👏
Then came the goal of the afternoon! 💥 Gwenno stepped up and unleashed an absolute screamer from outside the box, sending the ball flying into the net and giving the home supporters something very special to celebrate! 🚀⚽️
Captain Gemma (sponsored by Maggies cancer centre) then completed the scoring for Bont with a superb free kick, showing great composure to find the back of the net. ⚽️🎯
Newtown battled hard and managed to score twice, but Bont’s teamwork, determination and attacking play ensured they came away with a deserved 4–2 victory.

Two goals, including that absolute rocket from outside the box, and a brilliant all-round performance. A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match award! 👏🔥
