💙⚽ Old Malton U7s V Fulford U7 Ebors ⚽💙

What a fantastic first home match for our Old Malton U7s! 🎉It was a brilliant effort from start to finish. With 11 players on each side, we set up four 3v3 pitches and one 2v2 pitch for non-stop action.

Every single player showed incredible enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination against a very strong Fulford squad.From brilliant individual skills to great team football, the pitches were full of smiles. Most importantly, the team had a blast, supported one another, and gave it their all in front of a fantastic, cheering home crowd! 🙌

OMJFC U12S MUSTANGS

This morning saw us make the short journey to Heslerton to play their Hummingbirds.
Despite the wind and rain putting in an appearance the girls showed intent from the whistle.
All players made excellent contributions today, getting involved, maintaining their position, passing calmly and accurately and even trying a few headers 😅🙌
The Mustangs dominated the game and closed down attacks quickly.
Well done girls 🩷⚽️🩷

OM U13S

Our first game of the season couldn't have one any better with a 4- 0 win in the local derby. Thanks to Brooklyn for hosting.

For the first 20 minutes we slightly edged it but there wasn't alot in it at all. We looked a threat upfront from the off and came close a few times, Brooklyn digging deep to keep us out.
Finally we broke the deadlock with Ollie Maginty showing great feet in the box and composure to finish it off. We then looked in control and started to play some really good football. Matthew swung in a corner for Seb to meet on the volley to make it 2-0.
In the second half we came out strong and passed the ball really well through midfield with Seb and Ollie controlling the game and throughout we looked more composed.

Matthew, Frankie, Thomas and Caleb were really neat with their passing to open up the game. Zion, James, Jake and Anders always a threat. Our third goal came from another Zion run, beating players to set up Ollie with another neat finish. Caleb then drove through the middle of the pitch and found himself in the box only just missing the target with what would have been a contender for goal of the season.

Oscar made a couple of spectacular saves for the cameras, then to wrap it up Seb, who was superb throughout, set up James who calmly finished the game off.

Wilberfoss Mavericks 2-2 OM

A fantastic start to our U14 season with a hard fought draw against one of our nemesis teams 💪🏻 A great game that OM could have nicked a win against! The football was end to end and fast flowing and played with great respect with both teams competing and creating chances. With some players having to adapt to not their normal positions we looked a strong team both going forward and defensively! We scored 2 excellent goals and could have easily had a brace in the second half which OM dominated with some excellent midfield and wing play.

Well done to Jacob, Nikita & Ethan on their OM debut 🙌🏻💙

⚽️ Poppleton Tigers U11 vs Old Malton Hawks U11 💙

A bright, sunny Sunday morning at Poppleton for the U11 Hawks! ☀️

The Hawks all turned up ready for what was a hard fought battle from start to finish. Every single player put in a huge shift and played their socks off, we genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything more! 👏

From fantastic goalkeeping, swift runs down the wings, solid midfield and defence, to some cracking strikes up top, the whole team gave everything.

A real connection was formed today, with players finding space and making themselves available for some fantastic passes. The teamwork and determination on show made for a genuinely nail biting performance! What a performance from the whole team. You should all be incredibly proud! ⚽️💙

Today’s Man of the Match went to Harley Preston! 👏
Harley ran his socks off up and down the wing, putting pressure on the opposition, making tackles and delivering some terrific corners. His confidence to shoot seemed to come from nowhere today, but it was absolutely brilliant to see him take that confidence into the match! ⚽️🔥
Well done, Harley, thoroughly deserved!

And the added touch of a hotdog or bacon butty at the end for the players went down an absolute treat with our team! 😃

What a fantastic first match for the Old Malton U7s! 🎉

The team put in a brilliant effort from start to finish, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork and determination. For many of the players, it was their first taste of match day football, and they should all be incredibly proud of themselves.

There were plenty of smiles, some great football and lots of fantastic individual efforts. Most importantly, the team enjoyed themselves, supported each other and gave it their all against a strong Brooklyn Tigers side.

A huge well done to every player — a brilliant first match and a great success for Old Malton U7s! 👏⚽
