⚠️ RIDING SCHOOL CLOSURE – STORM WARNING 🌧️💨
Unfortunately, due to the severe weather conditions and the storm, we have made the decision to cancel all riding school activities today to ensure the safety of our riders, staff and, most importantly, our horses and ponies. 🐴❤️
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you all for your understanding. The safety and wellbeing of everyone at the yard will always be our top priority.
Please stay safe, take care and avoid unnecessary travel while the weather is so severe. 💨

🐴💚 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – RIDING SCHOOL CLOSURE & CHARITY SPONSORED RIDE 💚🐴

Please note that the riding school will be closed on Saturday 31st October and Saturday 7th November.

On Saturday 7th November, we will be taking on a 60-mile sponsored tandem ride in aid of Equine Grass Sickness, a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. 💚

As many of you know, last year was devastating for us at Devon River Riding Centre, as we sadly lost five very special horses: our beloved Star and her foal Dexter, along with Zippy, Zola and Charlotte. 💔🐴

Losing them was heartbreaking, and we would love to turn that heartbreak into something positive by raising as much money as possible to support the fight against this awful disease and help other horses and their owners.

Would you like to join us? 🐎

We would love for our riding school family to get involved! If you would like to take part in the sponsored ride, please speak to a member of the team to get a sponsorship form. There will be a small charge for the use of a pony.

If you are unable to join us but would still like to support our cause, we would be incredibly grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small. Every contribution will help us raise awareness and support the fight against equine grass sickness. 💚

Thank you all for your continued support, kindness and love. Our horses mean the world to us, and this is our way of honouring the five we lost while helping make a difference for others. ❤️

Together, we can make a difference. 🐴💚
